i want to teach my tentacruel icebeam but i need the TM for that and the TM is only available from the veilstone game corner. lots of my friends just buy the coins, but is it easier to play the slots and if so, can anyone give me some tips for them? i am NOT going to pay $200,000 just for the ice beam TM. thanks

Well, I know for a fact that after you play for a certain amount of time on the slots, sometimes a type of Pokeball may appear at the bottom screen. You can then use the pokeball as a sort of metronome to get yourself in time to press the slots at the right time.

There's also when a Clefairy appears at the bottom of your screen which is the "bonus" round. You just follow the slots that Clefairy's pointing at and you get coins straight away from that as it's always correct in where it's pointing.

I'm still not quite too sure how to make these two things happen, but when they do, they help in getting coins a lot.

Otherwise, if this is too tedious for you, the option of buying coins is always available.

no coz that is the easy way or u could just ask some one to trade it i think i have a spare ice beam !

hmmm ok thanks for the tips guys... i found an ice beam tm at the snowy place, but i just wanted to know for future referrence coz im probably going to need more than 1.... i guess the easiest way is to just ask someone if they will trade one

edit: tentacruel is sex with tentacles B)

also, is wring out worth learning? im just wondering if i should learn it or use the giga drain tm

You should have an Amulet Coin lying around somewhere. Find some trainers that give a decent amount of cash and also have Pokemon that you can OHKO easily. Give one of the Pokemon you'll use the Amulet Coin, and use the VS Seeker. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. In Fire Red, if I ever wanted coins I would go to this island somewhere near the main Sevii Islands, fight a bunch of girls with Flaffy that for some reason gave up THOUSANDS at the end, and used a Pokemon with Earthquake and an Amulet Coin to rack up tons of money.

That was a method also powurz, anyways if you didn't buy any coins in the begining you should have asked people for some, also usually there are coins laying around the casino

The free coins aren't enough to secure anything major in the prize pool. You'd still have to end up playing or buying coins to get the prizes.

Amulet Coin is located in Amity Square.

I never said it was enough, I'm saying that if you want extra coins go ask people to give you some before you start buying

I think there is a Ice Beam TM located near the Snowpoint area. But you'll need rock climb to get it though.

Besides buying coins, it's not that easy. Like from 5000 coins to 20000. And I'm NOT going to waist my life on slots. Just, I dunno....beat the Elite Four (With Amulet Coin, I hope.) and you'll make a lot of money. xP

Like only around I think it was 100 coins? And with each prize at least 1000 or 2000 coins there isn't much to get.

also think about getting those TM's from the playcorners in your GBA-games, since you won't be really using all those thousands you gathered there anyway

haha my mom loves playing slots, so whenever she feels like playing slots, I let her play mine. And she racks in a lot, because she can play for a few hours, than get bored haha.

Anyways, I don't have a problem with money, just shiny hunting.

~Raz, don't go off-topic please. I know you didn't mean to, but it's best to avoid doing it so that this thread doesn't go downhill so fast. =P

That... wasn't really off topic, because I was voicing my easiest way of getting coins. Like everyone else. (My mom does it haha)

Anyways, if you have a problem with it, then I'll slow up. =P

    Ciao
