Easy way to remove promo cards from plastic?

Anyone have any tips for removing a promo EX card from the plastic inside collection boxes? Those little nubs that keep them in are a pain in the ass. Anyone else have difficulty getting them out? Getting kinda tired of seeing odd dents on my cards as a result of trying to get them out.

In most big boxes, such as the new Mega Mewtwo figure boxes you can push the plastic on the bottom of the holder out and slide the card out. I think it works with any promo that only has 2 notches, 1 on each side.

Lately, I've just been flexing the plastic a bit and gently popping the card out when trying to get them out.
