And there's my next IC post! Note to our glorious GM: I have both Pikachus currently as caught, but one is simply not in the Pokéball. It still counts as me having it on me, so it's like a... reserved slot, meaning that I won't delete it from my "Captured Pokémon" list, and it won't count as being in the PC.

Just letting you know that I'm being fair about this :3 And sorry for not going with the plan as I'd originally told you, but I got an idea, and it was the sort of thing that I couldn't just ignore :P So I'm going with this.

I have a closing post for chapter one and an opening post for chapter two up. I apologize for the lack of pokemons and length for both of them. The opening for Veridian Forest was originally planned to be much longer, with an extended dream sequence where Chapo's nightmare goes from "scary monster" scary to "I think Mia's actually kinda hot" scary. THere was also going to be *gasp* a proper battle, with Chapo catching her first pokemon. THe latter will be moved to my next post, so I guess I'll be able to flesh it out better. I was also going to introduce the trainer that will cause the conflict for the Veridian Forest optional event...

But then I forgot my laptop at home like an idiot and had to scramble just to get this up... So here it is... I am gonna go pass out and then start work on a post I'm actually happy about.
 
Sorry for perhaps being a bit distant these days! I have FOUR important exams in one month and thus I'll (hopefully) be spending a bit less time here from now and throughout March. I'll still sneak in and update levels and stuff though :)

Sorry Red, but nobody else had written in the forum since I did so last, and I wanted to make sure you realized I'd written something new :x Won't happen again.

Also, DARNIT extra challenge! I finished my post about the Pikachu couple YESTERDAY! And now I'm working on a joined post with RedWing, which won't be done by today D: Curseeeees!
 
Fffffffffffff I shoulda just kept at the original projected length of my Veridian Forest opening and have Princess Chapo be rescued by her beloved, thought to be dead Valiant Dragon Knight Mia. Ah well. It's too early to do another dream sequence, so I'll try to think of something else. I probably won't be able to though since I have to work in less than two hours and won't be done until 8...

So, uhm... where did everyone go? o_o I'm working on a joined post with RedWing, but I haven't heard from anybody else in a long time. Are you guys just busy with things?

Haven't felt like posting yet, plus quite a few folks are behind so I'm taking the opportunity to get a lead on school work and other miscellaneous RL projects of mine.
 
I've been away and busy and I'm still going to be busy with studies and other things at university and real life for some more weeks ;; Sorry for that. I'll make a bigger effort to come online on PC despite all this!

I've been working on my next post, sort of in an out of order way. I've been taking my time with it though, seeing as though this seems to be a slow and busy time for everybody. Not to mention I still haven't gotten any feedback on the last two posts I did, not that I expect anything from them since I didn't do much. I just don't want to swamp Red with three whole posts. >.<

If I do wind up getting it finished before anybody posts, though, I'll put it up. I have my first real pokemon battle done up in it already, and I have the mandatory event for Veridian taken care of.


Edit: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF where is everyone!? The silence is driving me crazy!

I agree. Status report, please, people!

I just haven't had any good ideas on how to finish Aberdeen's current battle because I originally had one idea behind it but now I think it's better if I change it maybe O.o
 
I'm still writing the joined post, but my co-poster Redwing went quiet at the same time as everyone else, so... I'm not sure where the heck she is.
 
Maybe it's just this time of year ;P Am I the only one who's got three exams coming up in March? Then again, those weeks are usually the ones where I have more time to spend here because I don't have scheduled things in school. So I don't have anything to blame left! Expect the rest of Aberdeen's battle some time on Friday or Saturday.
 
I fell into a bit of a rut after the first joint post. A mixture of no drive and seeing that literally no one else had posted.

Needless to say, I'm over it and I'm back to contributing to the joint post ^_^

Glad you enjoyed our first one, Red~ I thoroughly enjoyed typing it. I'm expecting Bastian's and my battle will be even more spectacular :D
 
Okay, so I'll make some updates to the players list as well.

Sovereign is booted because of still never having posted. Heretostay123 is welcome to rejoin us and I guess we have one open spot then!
 
And the double post is back on track! The duel is about to begin, and Buzz and Stomps are about to have the fight of their life! Looking forward to posting it :3

Also, @Redhawt: No reason your Pikapi can't flirt with Buzz, but the results might not be as hopeful as she'd think. Awh, imagine that, your Pikachu having a crush on mine and everytime they meet, she tries to get onto Buzz's good side XD Oh, the young Pokélove.
 
@ Bastian - totally works 8D

Turns out I got my hands on my computer tonight after all :D So maybe I'll have something up tonight already. But no promises, since I always seem to fail such promises if I make them xD

I'd like to replace Growl for Peck, pweez :3

Also, to explain Phoenix's battle-style:

I wanted Katt to have Pokemon that are fast and relatively acrobatic, giving her team a sort of graceful, dancer-like motif. That being said, Phoenix is her most agile Pokemon and as such likes to display her battle skills in various acrobatic maneuvers. Bastian brought it to my attention while we were writing the post, also, that Phoenix seemed a tad OP'd, so I dialed it back a bit.

However, I don't want her to lose her style (As in, jumping around and doing aerial screws when she attacks). They're not meant to come off as "masterful" or "powerful", simply an alternative means of delivering a blow.

Also, about Phoenix's reflexes: Bastian described Stomps as being a few feet away from Phoenix when he was delivering his attack. To me, a few feet is anywhere between 2-5 so, logically (IMO) that' be enough time to bat the attack away with a counter :V
