Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy: Last Episode Ever?

Well, Cartoon Network has been airing commercials lately about the "end" of Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy, called "The Best Day Edder." I personally think that this is just the end of the season. There are 3 reasons for this.

-- 1.) Cartoon Network has already ordered season 6, which probably cost a large sum of money that they wouldn't want to go to waste. This new season is supposed to pick up where season five left off, so it takes place in the winter.

-- 2.) There is also the Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy movie, which also would have cost a large sum of money.

-- 3.) There is one more episode premiering on May 11th, where aliens invade Rolf's house.

So, maybe this is a false alarm, or maybe they are really going to discontinue it. I still have my doubts, as it is one of CN's best and most popular shows.

CN never was the best in decision-making, but it's possible that the creators want to end the series. 6-7 years is an incredibly long time for a cartoon series and how much can you mine in terms of story? It's just an assumption, but I feel like playing devil's advocate.

Oh, well, poor Samuel Vincent. He's out of another decent gig or could be, anyway.

You know, this show really went down the tube when they started to go back to school. As much as I used to like this show, I saw this coming a long time ago.

I don't know, CN doesn't really BS as much as Adult Swim does (I remember a while ago AS saying Aqua Teen was going to end with one mroe episode which turned out to be episode 3 for the new season and they were jsut lying).

I guess we'll see because I still think the show is great. Although there's one thing I noticed, have they ever actually announced the end of a show? All those other times, they just pull the plug without warning. Samurai Jack, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, etc.

I was never too fond of the series myself, but I do remember when it first came around.
I figured it had ended already, because I don't really keep up with it, but I figured the whole 'end' thing was actually real.
I mean, I can believe it, it had a real good run. Still, its not like they have to stop it... they could keep going and continue to make money. oO; Seems like the smart thing to do..
Unless they're just tired of it.
