WWE Smackdown Superstar Eddie Guerrero passed away this morning in his hotel room. He was scheduled to perform at the RAW/Smackdown tv taping supershow. (Which means RAW will be taped, then Smackdown). He was suppose to be in a triple threat match with Batista and Orton. He died of heart failure sources say. WWE.com is upset by this news and so am I and others. R.I.P. Eddie Guerrero, We will miss you.

I'm in shock. I loved that guy.
I currenty am training to become a wrestler and I had so much respect for him for what he has done. He will be missed by me, thats for sure.

Oh my God...I loved this guy.
I saw him a couple of times, last was at No Mercy. Eddie was a TRUE legend. I want to know how hisa heart failed, he was one of my favorite wrestlers of all time.

Wow...this is very shocking to me. I can't believe it...wow.

    RIP Eddie

    EDIT:I got a link...https://www.wwe.com/

I haven't liked the way the WWE has been these days since it's not really wrestling anymore in that company but Eddie was one of WWE's best talent, with the exception of maybe a Shawn Michaels, Chris Beniot and Kurt Angle he was literally the best wrestler there today and kept wrestling fans like me watching the WWE product at all. He was always one of my favorites especially during the ECW/WCW stages of his career because he really showcased his talent and had some of his best matches their helping those companies survive on a week to week bases but more so one of the respected wrestlers that I personally enjoyed watching for many years and he really did continue that strong bloodline of the Guerrero family. He was very open about his demons and he recently just past his 4th anniversary of staying clean, even though he's gone he can be still an inspiration to others who are struggling with demons.

Anyway I wish all the best to Eddie's close friends like Beniot, Malenko and Rey Jr. and especially to Eddie's family because this is something that's going to take a toll on them more then anybody. Also I wish the best of luck and send my respect to all of the WWE doing the tribute RAW show taping tonight and when Smackdown does their tribute taping show also to TNA as well since this tragedy happened on the day of their 2nd big PPV. But especially to his nephew Chavo who will be competing under these circumstances. R.I.P. Eddie.

I always ask myself, "How would the World Heavyweight Match go on? As I thought he would die until he's like 100 or something. BUT I will watch Friday Night SmackDown! to see what will happen." Then I thought, "Hmm, since Mr. Mcmahon said on the interview that both RAW and SmackDown! will remember the lifetime of Eddie's wrestling carrer. Wait a minute, I can't think of anything else to say...but I do know that Tazz and Cole will defiantly say about it in the ringside announcer thingy."

As you rest in peace, we will watch WWE every chance we get...

That's friggin' sad... :( He was one of my favorite wrestlers... :'( I've been watching him since WCW...

Yeah,I had to come back, just for Eddie.

May he rest in peace, the latino heat will always burn, forever.

Not a huge WWE fan, but I've seen this guy wrestle and I remember the name. That's really a shame. I'm sure he'll be missed. :(

Wrestling was never something I enjoyed watching. But Eddie Guerrero was a man I respected, especially since he was a fellow hispanic person and a respectable one too.

Its such a shame he passed away, but at least he left with dignity. <3

    R.I.P. Eddie Guerrero

I don't mean to sound like a complete **** or whatever, but did anyone notice that Owen Hart AND Eddie Guerrero died just as when they were about to win championships?

    Yeah I noticed...but it's just coincidence(sp?).

And they died in TOTALLY different ways.

Owen Hart: May 23, 1999 he was set to make an entrance from the catwalk above the ring and wire snap. He falls 90 feet snapping his neck on the turnbuckle, killing him almost instantly.

Eddie Guerrero: November 13, 2005, died in his hotel room of heart failure(as said on WWE.com) and is found dead by Chavo Guerrero (Kerwin White) and a secrurity guard, CPR didn't work and pronounced him dead

Sad incidents both of them are.
And Wrestlemaster, the match was going to be taped tonight after Raw.

Edit: My bad, there was a supershow. They're basiccly non-taped shows.

    ....I feel like crying again...I'm watching Eddie Guerrero's Rememberance...I'm gonna cry...my 3rd time today.

No. On Sunday, both RAW & Smackdown were being taped. It was originally planned that on that Smackdown! Eddie was to the World Heavyweight Championship. Due to his untimely death, Vince made RAW and Smackdown a joint tribute show. RAW aired on Monday, and the rest of the tribute show will be shown on Thursday were Chavo gets to wrestle. and so does Benoit.

After the untimely passing of Eddie Guerrero, WWE and the entire sports-entertainment community is still reeling from the devastating loss of a champion. The initial autopsy reports on Guerrero have come in. WWE.com spoke with Eddie's widow, Vickie Guerrero, earlier today.

"It was heart failure. It was from his past – the drinking and the drug abuse. They found signs of heart disease. She (the examiner) said that the blood vessels were very worn and narrow, and that just showed all the abuse from the scheduling of work and his past. And Eddie just worked out like crazy all the time. It made his heart grow bigger and work harder and the vessels were getting smaller, and that's what caused the heart failure. He went into a deep sleep.

As soon as they saw his heart, they saw the lining of his heart already had the heart disease. There was no trauma, and Eddie hadn't hurt himself in any way. It answered a lot of questions. I knew Eddie wasn't feeling very good for the last week. He was home and kept saying he wasn't feeling good and we thought it was just "road tired." So we thought he just had to rest. It answered a lot of my questions, too, because he was just so exhausted. She said it was normal because the heart was working so hard.

When he didn't call me last night and the night before I knew it was for real, because he would call me every night. I miss his phone calls. I cried through the whole thing (last night).

I loved his laugh. His laugh was the best.

We just celebrated his four-year sobriety last Thursday. We just thought we had life by the handful. We thought we had it all figured out. He worked so hard to make a better life for us.

I'm just overwhelmed by how people are coming out. It's touched my heart a lot.

Everybody was just in awe last night in how beautifully everything was put together.

All my life was wrestling. All he did was take care of them and live for that. And I don't know what to do now."

Yeah I read this on WWE.con, and I was right about the cause. *sigh* It's terrible, just terrible. My cousin's been watching him since he was three(14 now) and had a HUGE impact on him. Me too but man.
