[Other] Editing textures in HG/SS

    I haven't seen much research into this so I guess I will ask. Just today I decided to switch over to HGSS for my rombase, I made a test map and encountered this little oddity.

    As we can see, the texture for the trunk is waving like a pond. The tree texture is sliding around like the waves.
    In this edited map I have 3 textures:
    texture 1: grass01gs
    texture 2: tree01_un
    texture 3: treekn

    The original map (newbark town) first three textures are:
    Texture 1: pond_on
    Texture 2: swave_p
    Texture 3: pond_edge

    Its a fresh map, nothing could possibly be left over. I even changed the terrain settings.
    The testmaps I inserted into diamond never did this.
    I'm really at a loss for thought, is there something else that controls the animation for those plains?
    Is their any research done on this?
