I want to breed an EEVEE 7 times so I can have all of the evolutions. But when I speak to Bebe, she keeps giving me a male one so I soft reset. Two questions.

Is soft reseting worthless in this case because it is pre-determinded I will get a male?

Can I breed with a male EEVEE and a ditto?

    Trade

I don't know for first yes you can with ditto almost any with ditto

As far as I know it SHOULD be random if its a male or not...least thats the case for the starters, that Eevee however may actually be only male. but depending how far you are in the game there IS a way to catch Eevees in the wild, which may be simpler then getting your hands on a ditto

Eevee has a 12.5% chance of being a female, regardless of wherever you obtain it.
Keep resetting in front of Bebe, she should give you a female soon enough. Or, Ditto will get the job done also ;P

Definetly keep reseting. I got lucky and got a female on my first try.
    I have Soulsilver and Platinum.
