5th Gen Eeveelutions and Unova

    So! Eevee can be given to you, can be found in the wild and there was even an event back in the day to give you Dream World Eeveelutions WITH THEIR DREAM WORLD ABILITY. Yes, at the time that was ~huuuuuuuge~. But now it's like ok cool, we have Friend Safari so no big deal.

    But let's get back in the moment, for a few moments. Two things come to mind: Why didn't Unova get an Eeveelution of its own given all the Eeveepromotions? Most importantly: If it did, what new Eeveelution would have been perfect for Unova?

    Bonus question: Did you get a Dream World Eeveelution? Which one did you choose? Was the choice impossible? :(
     
    I can't even remember if I got one from the Dream World... I feel like I should have because I always tried to keep up with those events but I can't remember at all. I know in B2W2 Amanita gives the player a Hidden Ability Eevee and I never actually got it from her because I couldn't get it to soft reset into a Modest Nature for the Espeon I would have wanted...

    I'm kind of glad Unova didn't get its own Eeveelution because I like how its Dex is separate from all the others. But if it had to get one, I'd say it should be Dragon-Type due to the emphasis of Dragons in their regional lore (and it would be neat if Drayden and Iris had access to it).
     
    I would agree with the statement above. A Dragon-type Eeveelution is the only one I can really see as being viable for the region given its emphasis. The only other ones I could have seen would have been ones who represented light and dark, a.k.a Psychic and Dark type but those have long been introduced so Dragon-type is the remaining best option as all the other remaining types that haven't been given Eeveelutions don't really make sense to me for the region
     
    There are tons of choices they could have used for Unova. A Poison Type Eeveelution and a Steel Type Eeveelution would have fit beautifully. There are also no Ground, Flying, Rock, Bug, Fighting, Ghost or Dragon Eevees. Maybe we'll see a new one in Moon and Sun? I hope so. I've been waiting to see what a Poison Type Eevee would look like. It'd evolve by gaining a level while Poisoned or Badly Poisoned.
     
    I'll go for something completely different here.

    How about a Normal Type Eeveelution, makes sense right, coz Eevee is a Normal Type :P. Eevee evolving in an orthodox way, by Leveling up say at around Lv.25 or so, that'd be cool.

    I got my dream world Espeon and... I don't remember the other one I got lmao. I had two games or accounts so i could get both. Had to get Espeon because of the fact that it was like one of the best Pokémon ever back in the day lol. Good times :)

    I agree with Dragon... kinda. I mean in comparison to the other dragons found in the Unova region I just can't imagine Eevee's potential evolution standing up to the others. With that said though normal would fit in fine I think. But. Only if it was a B2W2 exclusive and accidentally discovered that it was possible to evolve Eevee!
