Egg Moves - What if?

Now I have read plenty of guides but needed to get a quick answer since I cannot seem to get a straight one. If I want to lets just say (in theory) if i could get a pokemon like Blaziken who was female and an electric pokemon in the same egg group, could I somehow get an egg with a Torchic with say an electric move? Im pretty sure I cannot. If someone could plz reply thatd be great... and if someone could message me on AIM bout eggs I would be much appreciated.

I?ll answer this here. Each Pok?mon has a set of egg moves. Like level up moves, each Pok?mon that can be hatched has a different set. Rather than leveling up to get them, you must breed them with something that has them. It?s like those are their ?hidden? moves, and to unlock the moves for them you must cross breed the moves onto them. Pok?mon can only inherit level up, TM and HM moves they can learn, and a special set of ?breeding? moves. So that would not work. I?m sorry if I am poor at explaining things. >.<

Well, it might work if Torchic can learn any electric TM moves, or if he has an electric "breeding move".

You can check for websites online to see what breeding moves a Pokemon have.

https://pokedex.kary.ca/ or pokefor.tk has an excellent Pokedex about what are the TM moves a Pokemon can learn, and what move tutor/egg move a Pokemon have.

(note: Pokefor.tk is anti-MS so you have to use another browser... o.o; )

Torchic family cannot learn any electric move except for HP Electric, but meh as if they need it... they have earthquake, rock slide, brick break and enough of cool moves already...
