    Elder Scrolls: Akatosh's Hourglass
GM'ed by Elite Killer and Westside Connection
    Rated T for Teen

[PokeCommunity.com] Elder Scrolls: Akatosh's Hourglass (OOC)

    Plot/Background:

The Land of Tamriel, which is where the Elder Scrolls series and this RP takes place, is a medival-somewhat fantasy land. The land of Tamriel is split into nine different regions, which is shown on the map here:

    Spoiler:

Also, the land of Tamriel is mostly inhabited by ten sentient species, which are the Imperials, Nords, High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Orcs, Bretons, Redguards, Argonians and the Khajit. These species will be elaborated on later in the post.

Anyways, this RP will take place in Cyrodiil, the center region on the map. You may, during this RP have to visit other regions as part of the plot. Cyrodiil's map is here:

    Spoiler:

Elder Scrolls Wiki you can use this if you want to research more.

This RP is set fifteen years after the events of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. At this point in time, the civil war in Skyrim has not been solved, instead Stormcloaks still own the Eastern half of Skyrim, while the Imperials still control the Western half. While the Skyrim Civil War is in a cease fire, another Revolution is happening, this time in Morrowwind. This Revolution, called the Dunmer Resistance, is being led by Evin Liyal, a noble who tried for peaceful seperation of Morrowind from the Argonian state, but when that failed, Evin launched full rebellion. Also, the tensions between the Cyrodiilic Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion continue to escalate, and there has been skirmishes along the borders already.

Akatosh has forever been revelled by the people of Tamriel as the God of Time, and as the Chief Deity of the Divines. Akatosh is worshipped in temple and shrines all over Tamriel. Akatosh's relevance as the God of Time has led to a spike in activity in a recent discovery made in the Valus Mountains, which are on the Cyrodiil/Morrowind borders. This discovery, made by fleeing Dark Elf rebels, indicated the existence of a relic called Akatosh's Hourglass. This Hourglass is supposed to give the wielder the power to control time and gives the wielder unlimited power, in essence giving the wielder the powers of Akatosh. As you can see, there is a lot of reason to be interested in this relic. This discovery of a once in a life-time power has drawn all the military, political and cultural interest to the Hourglass.

You, as the roleplayer, are a tamrielic citizen either living in Cyrodiil or heading to Cyrodiil. Your intent is to track and locate the Hourglass, either following or discarding any morals. You may be apart of a faction looking for the Hourglass, or you may be independent looking for the Hourglass for personal means. While you are searching for this valuable hourglass, military tensions continue to rise and this hourglass may be the push that knocks Tamriel into full-scale war.

    Rules:

    Name: Neela-Fa
    Gender: Female
    Age: 25
    Species: Argonian
    Class: Assassin

Appearance: Like the rest of her species, Neela-fa is a bipedal reptilian. She is short and slight in stature, her build nowhere near as impressive of that of an Orc. What she lacks in muscular strength is made up for in stealth; her frame allows her to get into places that others can't, and is a tool of deception most welcome in her trade. Her skin is formed of small, neat scales, giving her the generic leathery Argonian appearance, and is predominantly green in colour. Neela-fa's face is darker than the rest of her body and her snout the darkest part of her face. The colouration makes her look as if she has dipped her nose in something, especially as it fades as it comes to the back of her head. Contrarily, her throat is a very pale, yellowish-green that she keeps concealed with a dark scarf, as the centre especially is too bright for her liking. She prefers to dress in clothes that do not mark her as an assassin (so the dark cloaks and whatnot are out), nor that draw much attention to her, though will wear a traveller's cloak when the weather is particularly horrific. There are very small horns on her head, the same yellow colour as her throat; they do not curve in any way. Similarly the protrusions around her jaw and neck are small and straight - when she wears her cloak they are hard to make out but her Argonian shaped head is more than distinguishable.

Her eyes are a dark orange in hue, more often than not narrowed in either contempt or contemplation. Upon closer inspection one is somewhat duller than the other. Neela-fa's brow does not jut out; like the rest of her it is small and undefined.

In terms of figure, her body is not very voluptuous, not that she cares. Her tail is again, dark green, and longer than she would like it to be. She dresses in commoner clothing, usually of the male variety because dresses are impractical, so she is often seen in tunics, breeches and the occasional shirt, if she can get her hands on such a thing (she doesn't approve of stealing the clothes off her victims' backs). On some occasions she will wear fancier clothing, but only if it is necessary for her profession - like getting close to a mark or seeking out information, otherwise she does not see the point of dressing fancily. The one garment she never removes is her belt, within which is her dagger, though she is also proficient with swords and bows (though she will only use a bow if necessary and tends not to carry one about her person).

Personality: Neela-fa is not an assassin who keeps to herself, though she makes sure that she is forgettable in every way whenever she visits a new town or city. She will act pleasantly towards those who greet her, even if it is to tell her how nice she would look as a purse or pair of boots, and endeavour to keep the peace - she is not one to seek violence or to use violence during a mission. She is a peace keeper in general, and will go out of her way to avoid violence unless it jeopardises her career (at which point she will simply vanish).

She prefers the company of other races rather than fellow Argonians, and would betray her friends in the blink of an eye and not feel a single bit of remorse. Guilt is very hard for her to feel as she believes that she has been given a task by higher beings to cleanse the world of people who step on the wrong side of the law. With this said, there are extreme cases where she will go against the code of justice, and she deigns to kill those who are innocent or to work with the group known as the Dark Brotherhood. Despite the nature of her moral code, she is rough-spoken and has no qualms with drinking, gambling and other activities deemed as 'sinful'. In a sense, she follows her own brand of religion that takes a little from each of those around her and moulds it into her own morality. She does not see herself as Argonian, simply 'Neela-fa', and her arrogance has landed her in a few situations (but it has also helped her to escape from others).

Some say that perhaps she is a little too blunt or does not know when to curb her tongue, but she is not too fussed with the opinions of others so long as she remains unknown as an assassin.

History: Neela-fa was born in the Black Marsh, like many of her species, to a simple Argonian family. She had an older brother and later a younger sister, and the three of them would run errands together. As her sister was born under the sign of The Shadow, she was scouted by the Shadowscale at an early age, not that Neela-fa wished such a fate for Choora. After this her family moved to Bravil over land issues though her brother later decided to return to the Black Marsh. This left her the sole supporter of her parents - by this point her mother was ailing and her father could not cover costs for food, medicine and the upkeep of their house. She got a job as a servant at the castle, and was the subject of a lot of jokes (Lusty Argonian Maids, anyone?). She entered the world of assassination at a fairly late age, originally deciding to train herself in the art of self defense to deter the annoying guards who pulled at her tail. She then became consumed by the ways of an assassin, spending her time in the castle library reading instead of dusting shelves.

At eighteen, she left the castle and became a freelancer, not that her parents knew. Successful kills brought money in, failures risked her family so the latter was not an option. It was by this time that she encountered a male Argonian called Grey-Scales; the two fell in love and were married by the time Neela-fa was twenty. They were all set to start a family of their own until a trip to the Imperial City went awry; one of Neela-fa's informants sold her out and the two were ambushed. Poorly equipped and completely taken by surprise, Neela-fa was unable to save her husband and sustained an injury which left her blind in one eye. Her belief that Argonians in Cyrodiil had to stick together was shattered by the fact that her ambushers were also Argonian and had no qualms with trying to kill one of their fellows, especially as one was with child. Understandably, the stress of the incident caused the death of their unborn child. Upon recovering she descended into a life of complete solitude from everyone she knew, only contacting her family to send them enough money to keep them safe.

Years later, she has been travelling around Cyrodiil, looking for work in each of the cities (and moving on before she is detected), and honing her skills. Upon hearing of the hourglass, she decided to pursue it with the sole intention of ensuring that she and Grey-scales never meet, and her sister is never taken in to the Shadowscale. Beyond her own personal reasons, she has no other use for it.

    Name: Dar' Kovu
    Gender: Male
    Age: 21
    Species: Khajiit
    Class: Assassin
    Appearance:
    Spoiler:

Personality: Dar' Kovu tries to be a calm, strong leader, but he will always be easy to anger. Once apon a time, he would do anything to complete the mission, now he abides by a strict set of morals. He's not one for talk, and shows his skill through his actions. On a contract, he is quick, quiet, and efficient. All around, he is respectful and polite, to his targets, and to the innocent. He is kind of picky on who he will kill, he only goes after 'bad guys', or people who seek others misery, in example as sleazy salesmen and corrupt political figures. If you can get to know him, he's not that bad of a guy, even though he kills people for a living. Dar' Kovu can be a bit shy at first, but once he gets used to you, he opens up more. He will kill anyone having to do anything with the Dark Brotherhood, no matter how important they are to the mission, on the spot. Dar' Kovu can hold a grudge for years if you wrong him. He worships the Khajiit thief-god of Rajhin

History: Dar' Kovu was born in the city of Orcrest in Elsweyr. His father was from Skyrim, whilst his mother from Elsweyr. His life was never easy, he didn't grow up in a rich family, or even middle class. He was one of the poor cats. He would often have to steal coin and gold to be able to eat. As he grew up, he got better at sneaking around, and developed an interest in one handed arms. When he was 10, he was put in jail for being caught stealing. (Before they just didn't care, he was a poor little kitten) It was dark, cold and damp in the cell by himself, but he got fed regularly. The next day he was let out and ran home immediately.

At 13, he found a teacher to teach him how to handle a sword. This teacher was nice enough to give him an iron sword. He went back home every day after sessions and would practice on a makeshift dummy he erected out of garbage lying around. He got better and better with his sword. Year after year he trained, day and night, to reach his dream of becoming a Guard. After 3 years, he learned all the teacher was willing to teach. Now he had to wait 2 years to join the guard, when turned 18.

Five days later, he was stopped by a shady Imperial, who asked him to enter a building. For some reason he did. The man asked him to kill an Thalmor official in the slum turned coastal resort of Senchal. Normally, he would of declined immediately and reported him to the guard, but the pay was enough to feed his family permanently, as well as get a real home for them. He accepted, and was thrust into the world of assassins. He was given a steel dagger, a horse and sent out to do the deed.

After a week of travel, he made it to Senchal. Now all he had to do was figure out how to get near the elf. He crept around the resort until he found where the Thalmor official was. He was starring off into the ocean from a balcony. He was also surrounded by guards, so it wouldn't be easy to just push him over the edge. He used all the money he had to buy a room above the high elf. He stayed in his room for 20 minutes till he figured how to kill the target. He took his dagger and broke the stain glass window then pounced down and slit the elf's throat with his claws. He took his dagger and implanted it into the first guards throat. Dar' Kovu then took the guard's sword and killed the last two guards, though not unscathed. The guards were native, and one used his claws to cut him across the nose. Dar' Kovu fled the scene as quickly as possible.

He couldn't sleep for weeks after. He would lay in his new bed in his families new home, sleepless, while he should be falling asleep in minutes. He eventually got over it.

He kept on getting contracts, with each complete he established a name for himself in Elsweyr. Each time he killed someone, it got easier. Big contracts, and small, they were all the same, someone who needed to die so he could get his pay. Eventually, he picked up on archery and started using a bow and sword to kill people.

After four years of being a professional self-employed assassin, he looked back at his life. He remembered when he had dreams of becoming a guard, or an adventurer, journeying across Tamriel. He remembered being taught what it was to being a good person. His parents had never known he stole to get the loaf of bread they would eat for the week. He decided from then, he was going to be an assassin who didn't kill for anyone. He would kill to eliminate the forces destabilizing Nirn. He gave himself a day to change by, his 21 birthday. In 3 weeks, he would be different.

1 week and four days from his birthday, he had figured out his past actions angered the wrong people, namely, the Dark Brotherhood. He was knowcked out and bagged. He came to in a basement with a bag over his head. He heard someone walk over, then the bag was ripped off. He saw an angry Nord. The man told him he could either join them, or die. Dar' Kovu chose die. The Nord pulled out a Daedric sword and tried to stab him, but Dar' Kovu flipped him over his shoulder. He then used the sword to cut his bindings. He took the sword and chopped the Nord's head clean off.

Dar' Kovu walked into the city of Dune, Elsweyr, with a new set of Sicarius armor and a new sword. He walked back towards his town when he realized they would find out he was alive. As he tried to figure out his next move, he overheard some people talking about some artifact called Akatosh's Hourglass. An artifact with untold power, somewhere in Cyrodiil. Dune was pretty close to the border, at least compared to the whole state. He went to the nearest altar for Rajin, he was going to need his blessing for this. When he found the hourglass, he would create political peace AS WELL as destroy the Dark Brotherhood, slowly and painfully kill each member.

With his mind made up, he waited for night and followed the moons to Cyrodiil. Hopefully he would be there before his 21st birthday...

Weapons: (Skyrim version for all) Daedric sword (If not O.K, Ebony), Steel dagger, Elven Bow (Ebony arrows)

Well, as Co-GM I can reserve all three of you. Hence, you all are reserved. And here is the start of My SU:

    Name: Thorsten the Powerful
    Gender: Male
    Age: 24
    Species: Nord
    Class: Warrior
    Appearance:

    Spoiler:

    Personality:

Thorsten the Powerful is cool, calm and calculating, yet possesses an intimidating aura to to his large stature. He is very patient, waiting for the perfect opprotunity in life instead of unsatisfactory opprotunities. He never underestimates what others can do, a trait that aids him in battle and life. Thorsten usually finds himself as a stern voice of reason in times of strife or difficulty. Thorsten is a tough person, both physically and emotionally. He is able to overcome difficulties as he has done in life. Thorsten makes no random move, even though some of his decisions seem erratic or strange, doubting his intentions is how many foes have lost to Thorsten in the heat of battle. Thorsten operates under a strict regime, not tolerating the failures of people he is counting on or his failures. Thorsten is a valiant worker, giving everything he does his full effort. Thorsten is quite intelligent when it comes to fighting and politics. Although Thorsten is a military force, he also serves as Ulfric Stormcloak's political power. Thorsten is bound by the traditional Nordic laws of Honour, and is loyal to his allies and friends. Thorsten supports Ulfric's cause, even after Ulfric began to go insane.

    History:

Thorsten was born in the Village of Shor's Stone, in the region of Skyrim. Thorsten was born to two miners, and for such reasons Thorsten began working the mines when he turned six. When Thorsten was not working the mines, he was out practicing fighting, as he always dreamed of leaving Shor's Stone and becoming a warrior. When Thorsten turned ten, he left Shor's Stone, but in a different way then he had imagined. Due to the mine in Shor's Stone being nearly depleted, Thorsten's family left Shor's Stone. After they left Shor's Stone, Thorsten's parents decided to move north to the mines in Dawnstar, which is in Northern Skyrim. So Thorsten and his family packed up and departed for Dawnstar. This was supposed to be a normal trip, just go to Dawnstar and begin a new life but Thorsten's family made a stop overnight at the Nightingate Inn, West of Windhelm. While sleeping at the Inn, the Inn was burned down by an Imperial attack, leaving nine dead, including four Stormcloaks and Thorsten's parents.

Orphaned and poor, Thorsten left to Windhelm, where he lived on the streets. After finding tough love from the Nords of Windhelm, Thorsten began to hang around the Gray Quarter, where a family of Dark Elves took him in. The Dark Elves treated Thorsten as one of their own, supporting Thorsten as he transitioned to manhood. Thorsten trained with the Dark Elves about the art of battle, and became very skilled in the sword arts. Due to his Nordic heritage, Thorsten was able to enlist in the Stormcloak army when he turned eighteen, which he did. But before he left the Dark Elf family, he promised to bring a better life to them. Thorsten began fighting the Imperials in a couple of weeks, fighting in the decisive Battle of Shearpoint, in which the Stormcloaks, which were outnumbered fifteen to one, beat the advancing Imperials, due to the valiant efforts of Thorsten, who defeated ninety-one Imperial Soldiers that day. For that, Thorsten earned the title Thorsten the Powerful. Thorsten quickly rose through the ranks and became one of Ulfric Stormcloak's most trusted allies. Thorsten led one of the most risky attacks in the war, which ultimately decided the cease-fire between the Stormcloaks and the Imperials. Thorsten led a group of twenty Stormcloaks on an invasion at Solitude. Although once again Thorsten's troops were outnumbered, they nearly took the city. Thorsten and the eleven Stormcloak survivors were arrested for treason and murder, and thrown in Cidhna Mine. Thorsten stayed to rot in Cidhna Mine for two years until Ulfric negogiated for Thorsten's release, which was granted, and Thorsten returned to Windhelm. The twenty-three year old Thorsten returned to Skyrim and got married, to a woman named Alea. Thorsten still served Ulfric, and took the duties of Jarl of Windhelm when Ulfric was forced into hiding for three months. Thorsten still held the title when Ulfric returned, which caused uncertainty. To address this, Ulfric named himself High King of True Skyrim, which encompassed Dawnstar, Winterhold, Windhelm and Riften. While Ulfric was on his insane power craze, Thorsten quietly reigned as Jarl. This continued until the buzz of Akatosh's Hourglass reached Skyrim. Upon this, Thorsten decided to lead a campaign to retrieve the Hourglass, and use it to claim Skyrim.

    Done.

Would you kindly reserve me a place as an Argonian Archer?

    Name: Haj-Julan, "Reptile-in-Shadows"
    Gender: Male
    Age: 33
    Species: Argonian
    Class: Archer
    Appearance:
    Spoiler:
Not pictured: Ancient Nord Bow and Arrows, Steel War Axe

Personality: Haj-Julan is the strong, silent type, and never speaks more than is necessary. He takes his time, spending as much time as he needs to to ensure his job gets done right. Despite his willingness to take his time and wait patiently, he has little patience for others, and hates waiting for or relying on them. Although he would rather spend his time out in the wilderness, hunting or exploring, he is absolutely loyal to his faction, and obeys his leader's orders without question.

History: A former soldier of Black Marsh, Haj-Julan was captured by a raiding party of Dark Elves. Instead of killing him or trading him back to his country, he was sold into slavery, specifically to the Imperial Arena. He honed his skills in the pits, rising through the ranks quickly, nearly killing the Blue Team's champion before being struck down. The two warriors developed a mutual respect, and "Reptile" was spared and set free. The Champion was in fact a Captain in the Imperial army, training himself in the Arena to prepare for battles with the Stormcloaks. "Reptile" joined the Imperials, and became a Lieutenant, serving directly under the Captain himself.

When news of the Hourglass reached them, the Captain was convinced that it would give them the edge they needed to defeat the Nord rebels once and for all. He personally entrusted Reptile with recovering the artifact, unaware that Reptile harbored a desire to claim the Hourglass for himself. Just as the Captain thought he could use the Hourglass's powers to quash the Stormcloaks, Reptile desired it's powers to wipe out the Dark Elves who were at war with Black Marsh.

I would also like to be reserved. Just got Skyrim today. It was the first elder scrolls game I've played and I loved it. I don't know a whole lot about it but I do know the basics.

    Name: Ymir Stormdragon

    Gender: Male

    Age: 20

    Species: Nord

    Class: Warrior

Appearance: Like a true Nord, Ymir has blonde hair and blue eyes. However his hair is more of a dirty blonde color and his eyes are dark blue rather than sky blue. His skin is also slightly darker than other Nords but still pretty white. His hair is mid-length long and his facial features very pronounced. His face is also very smooth and unblemished lines and acne wise. Despite this he looks very imposing with a focused predatory stare in his eyes that he gained from being hardened in his years as a warrior and a scar running across his eye and cheek.

He stands six feet tall and has a muscular build having exercised and trained his body every day since he was five years old. His usual manner of dress is a black colored armor, cloak, boots, and pants. He always carries three trusty weapons to battle. One is his shock enchanted steel war hammer Mjolnir in which he's slain giants with. Another is his Dwarven bow of Ancient Winters enchanted with frost damage in which he uses for long ranged fighting. His third weapon is his Battle Axe of Lost Souls in which he's enchanted with a soul trap.

Personality: Ymir is the perfect killing machine, cold, uncompassionate, calculating, and vicious. He is a predator plain and simple stopping at nothing to complete his mission. The only soft spot he really has is for someone that died two years ago. Despite his cold nature he has a strong devotion to justice viewing the world in situational black and white terms. That means that killing depending on the situation could be completely good or completely evil. Killing an innocent person to him is completely evil, but killing a murderer is completely good. His opinions on the plight between the Stormcloaks and Imperials is siding with the Stormcloaks. He believes that the empire's history has been riddled with unfair treatment of the Nords. Unlike most Nords however Ymir does experiment with magic though he is a far cry from being a mage.

History: Ymir Stormdragon was born in Whiterun Skyrim to his father, Ymir Stormdragon the first, and his mother Siv Battle-Born. His father was greatly respected among the Nords because of his days as a traveling warrior and a member of the companions. The tales of Ymir Stormdragon the first told in the mead halls were the stuff of legend. He had slain everything from Falmer, to trolls, to giants, to Daedra, to vampires, to dragons, to everything under the sun saving countless lives in the process. One of the lives that he saved in his travels was the woman he chose to be his wife, Siv Battle-Born. Something that should be known about Ymir Stormdragon the first was that he was a horrible person and a heavy drinker. The only reason that he went on these adventures was for glory, and glory alone. His marriage to Siv Battle-Born was only for the wealth and respect that came along with the Battle-Born name. That, and because Siv was a meek, kind hearted, and forgiving woman who'd keep her mouth shut about Ymir the firsts extra marital affairs.

Five years before the events of Skyrim involving the Dragonborn, Siv bore Ymir Stormdragon a son. Ymir Stormdragon named the boy Ymir Stormdragon the second and hoped that his son would carry on the great Stormdragon name as a warrior hero. As Ymir the second grew it became apparent that he was no fighter. He was incredibly weak for a boy his age, and was very prone to disease. To make matters worse his dreams and aspirations were not to become a warrior hero but to instead become a mage, something looked down upon Nords, especially his father. His father tried many harsh methods to toughen him up, including beating him like a dog when he'd mess up a battle technique, or when he'd fail to lift something during his work outs. None of these methods worked, until one day when Ymir the first turned the beatings on Siv. The day that happened something in Ymir the second changed. His psyche was harmed in very profound way. He started to become colder. His skills in war and his muscle began to increase from intense workouts and training of his own choosing. In other words, he was becoming more like his father.

Six years later at the age of fifteen he ran into another Nord girl while hunting. Her name was Julia Gray-Mane. Julia was a very beautiful girl whose kindness caught Ymir the second off guard. He didn't understand why a Gray-Mane would be kind to someone connected to the Battle-Borns. Because of this curiousity Ymir gave Julia the privilege of speaking to him. Soon her warm heart melted the cold heart of Ymir the second and they became romantically involved. They were able to keep their relationship a secret for a year until Ymir the first caught them together. Ymir enraged grabbed his son and dragged him to the back of his house. He told his son that no matter how hard he tried to raise him in the art of war that he'd always be weak, and that there was only one way that he could think of to purge him of that weakness. Ymir the first cut open his arm and bled into the mouth of his son. In Ymir the first's companion days he had been invited into the circle and given the disease of Lycanthropy. In other words, he was a werewolf and was now passing the curse on to his son. This plan backfired when Ymir the second turned to his beast form and fought his father were wolf to were wolf. Ymir the second came out the victor.

At the moment he killed his father, his mother walked out of the house to see the event take place and died from fright on the spot. Ymir howled at the moon before turning to his human form and weeping uncontrollably. The death of Ymir the first was blamed on the Gray-Manes and a fight broke out among the two clans. Ymir the second and Julia Gray-Mane both fled town togther for their own reasons and became wandering warriors going from town to town to deal with evil wherever they found it ironically fulfilling Ymir's father's wishes and bringing glory to the Stormdragon name. One such evil that the fought were the vampires of Cyrodill. In a battle with the vampires Julia became infected with the disease. Eventually, Ymir had to end Julia's life. Two years later, he's stopped at nothing to try and find a way to bring his love back from the dead. Akatosh's hourglass is the way he can do this and thus he he will stop at nothing to get it.

I will reserve Godzil and Aspie 3000.

@Everyone: Get those SU's done and I will submit the IC.

    Name:
    Felix Veturius
    Gender:
    Male
    Age:
    24
    Species:
    Imperial
    Class:
    Mage
    Appearance:
Felix's appearance is far less than imposing. His short stature of about 5'4", and his lack of physical strength mean that he doesn't manage very well in making himself look like a force to be reckoned with, and he's easily picked out because of the lack of those qualities. He has medium-length messy dark brown hair, and down-turned eyes of a dull grey-blue colour. His face is somewhat thin, with a very defined jawline. His skin tone is lightly pale, and can burn pretty easily.

He usually wears a typical hooded blue robe when he is working on his duties for the college. When not on duty, he usually dresses in burgundy shirt and linens of the same colour. His clothing, especially his robe, often has the reminiscent smell of alchemical ingredients.
    Personality:
He has a very friendly and outgoing character. He is young and energetic, with a natural curiosity for most things, though he is often not quite intelligent, and often fails to overthink his plans. Indeed, those traits made him infamous among fellow mages as the biggest failure the college of Whispers ever had to endure. But dim-witted as he may be, he relies on improvisation to get himself out of tricky situations, and, with just the right luck, manages to pull it off with moderate success. He is easily manipulated, though, which often causes him to get into situations far above his level of being able to handle. While not a successful mage in just about any school there is, he has a passion for alchemy.
    History:
Felix is in the latest generation of a family that has a long history of practising magicka, and passed down their knowledge (and wealth) from generation to generation. His father, an experienced magician with a high function at the college of Whispers, he taught Felix the ways of magic when he was in his teens. However, despite his best training efforts, Felix already had trouble mastering the mere basics of magic, and after 6 years, into the age of 18, he could only just pass for mediocre as a mage. His father, who didn't want to give up on his son, tried to manipulate the staff through his high function to allow him into the college as an apprentice anyway, a push that eventually paid off.

Felix was a far below average student though, often driving the lecturers to near insanity whenever they tried to teach him a new spell, and during alchemy, he nearly became a danger to the entire class. One incident made him very infamous among the students. Indeed, it took the college at least a month to repair the giant hole he blew into the alchemy tower after, by accident, he fizzled a potion into a very unstable explosive that by miracle didn't kill anybody.

A few months later, when relative peace had returned to the college, the headmaster called for Felix to come to his office. There, he was explained of the mysterious artifact known as the hourglass of Akatosh. The headmaster explained that this was a personal mission that was to be kept secret from anyone else in the college, and promised that, if he were to succeed in retrieving the artifact, he would find a way to get him promoted to a high function, like his father. This easily convinced Felix, who, without further ado, packed his gear and left the college, much to their relief to see him go, to go search for this mysterious artifact.

    @EGKangaroo: Accepted!

And, I'm making a new SU:

    Name: Ulrich Gondyctor
    Gender: Male
    Age: 39
    Species: Breton
    Class: Merchant
    Appearance:

[PokeCommunity.com] Elder Scrolls: Akatosh's Hourglass (OOC)

Like that but he has a hood on most of the time due to he being a wanted man.

    Personality:

Ulrich is very business oriented, preferring to make deals that suit him and he is the kind to get away with it. Ulrich analyzes every situation in order to find more ways to make a profit. Ulrich is cunning, intelligent and crafty. Ulrich is quite skilled in giving an inch and taking a mile, to quote the saying. Ulrich is very self-absorbed, and takes to the mindset that he is superior to most. Ulrich is very arrogant, due to his aristocrat nature and his economic power. Ulrich suffers from megalomania, which leads him to believe that he is meant to conquer all of Tamriel through economic and political power. Ulrich is very logical and intelligent when it comes to dealings negogiations with others, and can always seem to win a deal. Ulrich has the influence to be able to sell anything to anyone. Ulrich is a shrewd negogiator, possessing skills in diplomacy. Ulrich prefers not to form personal bonds unless it is for business. Ulrich has a aura of sophistication around him.

    History:

Ulrich Gondyctor was born in Daggerfall, in High Rock. Ulrich was born to minor nobility who held little power. Ulrich was raised in comfort and luxury, like most nobility, not noticing the struggle many others faced. At an early age, Ulrich was taught the ways of diplomacy, in order to replace his father. Ulrich learned what he could diligently, but realized at a young age that his father held next to no power in the courts, and Ulrich was committed to establishing more power. When Ulrich was fifteen, he purchased the land and materials to build a store, The Daggerfall Trader, which functioned as a general store. Ulrich quickly received profits due to shrewd planning and back-handing a few people. Ulrich used these profits to build more shops, which he established in the major cities of High Rock. Ulrich quickly received profits and exceeded the rest of his family in profits. Due to his sucess and fame in High Rock, he was offered a position as economic advisor for Articlere's Lord. Ulrich accepted, yet managed to control his business empire which had started to expand into Hammerfell and Skyrim. Ulrich served in the economic advisor position for three years until he became bored of the job.

Ulrich left the job to run his company, now named the Daggerfall Trading Company, which had operations from the Summerset Isles to Morrowind and everywhere in between. Ulrich left High Rock and created his central office in Anvil, in Western Cyrodiil. Ulrich's company rivalled the East Empire Trading Company, which unlike Ulrich's company was funded by the Empire. Ulrich had built his company through tactical business measures. When Ulrich was twenty-nine, about ten years ago was invited to a meeting to possibly combine his Company with the East Empire Company. Ulrich once again accepted, and travelled to the Imperial City. The two parties began negogiating a pact which would unite the two companies. Ulrich was persistent that he should rule the combined company, while the East Empire Company wanted a board of directors. After the nineteenth day of unsuccessful negogiations, Ulrich returned to the inn where he was staying like any other day. What was different about this day was Ulrich was dragged into a alley and beaten mercifully, and left to die in the streets. Ulrich recovered, and fled Cyrodiil to Riften, which held his Skyrim office and was anti-Empire territory.

Soon after the beating, the Empire made it illegal for the Daggerfall Trading Company to be present in Cyrodiil and Western Skyrim. This dealt a major blow to Ulrich as more people and businesses were not willing to deal with the Daggerfall Trading Company after the law was passed, so within two years the company was nearly bankrupt, barely holding on to its posts in Eastern Skyrim. Ulrich felt broken, betrayed and cursed. His life's dream had fell apart. After six years of living in Skyrim holding on to the fledgling remains of the Daggerfall Trading Company, Ulrich returned to his home City of Daggerfall. Despite the rough ending to his business, Ulrich returned to Daggerfall as a celebrated icon. Ulrich quickly set up business in Daggerfall, and sold his assets in Skyrim. Ulrich once again became sucessful in High Rock, spreading his company, now the Gondyctor Traders Association, across High Rock, Hammerfell and the Aldmeri Dominion, once again Ulrich drew the ire of the Empire. So about one year before present times, Ulrich's Manor in Daggerfall was sieged by Imperial Forces, who clashed with Ulrich's personal mercenary serivce. After two weeks of the Imperial siege on the Gondyctor Manor, Ulrich surrendered to Imperial Forces and was arrested for charges of treason and fraud. Ulrich was brought to trial in the Imperial City.

After a short trial in which Ulrich was given no rights, Ulrich Gondyctor was deemed guilty of treason and fraud by a jury of his peers. Upon this conviction, Ulrich was sentenced to death. After three months of imprisonment, Ulrich Gondyctor faced his execution. Ulrich faced a crowd of over ten thousand watching as the Breton was about to be executed at the hands of the Imperial Headsman. Just as Ulrich was about to be executed, the Imperial City was bombarded by a Thalmor attack. Ulrich managed to escape, and the Thalmor were held back. Ulrich fled to Elsweyr, the home of the Khajit. Ulrich stayed in Elsweyr until the rumours of Akatosh's Hourglass reached Elsweyr. As soon as he heard the rumours, Ulrich planned a return to Cyrodiil in secrecy, with the help of the Khajit Caravans.

Okay, I've got an SU now. It looks a little short, though? Should I add more?

It doesn't look too baf, maybe you could add a little to your characters early history, but i think it looks fine, well just have to wait for EK's opinion because he does the SU Reviews.

@Godzil: I will accept you! Welcome!

@WestsideConnection: You are accepted! What's baf though?

@XLegionXX: You are by decree, accepted!

Once Rokusasu,Aspie3000 and Machomuu get their SU's in, I will submit the IC.

    Name: Ethan Kade

    Gender: Male

    Age: 26

    Species: Altmer (High Elf)

    Class: Mage

Appearance: Ethan is about 6 feet 7 inches. He wears Apprentice Mage Robes and carries a staff of Magelight on his back. His hands are black, an effect of trying to learn stronger Fire spells at a low rank (and failing, of course). For this reason, he wears a pair of leather gloves on his hands. He wears Enchanted Brown Leather Boots of Magicka. He his wide-eyed and has green tinted skin. His hair is a very light brown color, and it flows to the back of his neck. He's skinny, mainly because he rarely fights bare handed.

Personality: Quiet and studious, Ethan excels when it comes to enchantments and basic magic. He's a thinker, and his thoughts are deep-rooted in philosophy. He doesn't care much for the war between the Imperials and the Stormcloaks, he feels that they're both in the wrong, though he does detest those the Stormcloaks as a whole. He lives in Skyrim, but he vastly prefers Morrowind. Ethan holds a grudge against the Nords, and generally he hates the race as a whole. Still, he's no racist, and he won't hold prejudice towards them as individuals; that would make him no better than the Nords themselves.

History: Born in Morrowind, Ethan is the son of an alchemist and an enchanter. He was a happy and energetic child, and he had no real problems. One day, his village was pillaged and destroyed by a passing group of Nords. No one was killed in the attack, but the wilds of Morrowind are dangerous and the other settlements weren't close to where his village used to be. While the others could survive, he certainly couldn't. Because of this, Ethan's parents sent him to go live with a friend of theirs in Skyrim. Their friend was a Khajiit who was unable to bear kids, so he gladly welcomed Ethan to his home with open arms. This Khajiit, named Ru'lah, loved Ethan to death. He was a member of a Thieves Guild, which Ethan found out about when he was nine years old. Ethan accidentally stumbled upon the Thieves Guild, and was recruited into it for this reason. He was an excellent thief, and was a member of the guild for about three years. When he turned twelve, he and several other members, including Ru'lah were going on a heist. It didn't end well. They were caught, and most of the members were killed. Ethan escaped, but Ru'lah didn't. Alone, Ethan wasn't strong enough to brave the cold climate of Skyrim alone, so he ventured to the College of Winterhold with the little money that he had, they certainly wouldn't turn him away. It was here that he found out about Akatosh's Hourglass. He reasoned that, with the hourglass, he would be able to bring back his village and Ru'lah.

    You are accepted!

Just a question before I complete my history. Can Terrill be a werewolf?

Yes, I see no problem with it as long as you explain how he became a werewolf, and not like " Derp my character wanted to do werewolf stuff so he went and was now a werewolf derp".
