Electabuzz (and other) fur length

I was thinking (mainly because I'm trying to build an Electabuzz fursuit) about the length of Electabuzz' fur. First I thought that the fur was a long shaggy fur, but after some consideration and watching of the anime, I think it is a rather short fur but with longer tufts at the elbows. Now the question is: What do you think? And are there any pokémon perhaps, where you have come to the same conclusion? Just wondering :-)

If I were you, then maybe short but spiky hairs to give off those electric vibes. And Zoroark agrees with your claim

I think it's rather short like you said :) not too short to, but not as long as an Arcanine (an example).

Thank you for your thoughts :-) my main problem is that it is impossible to buy yellow fur where I live and to order it from the US costs 200$, so I'm thinking of using a long rich thick velvety fabric ^^
