This RP is rated PG-13, I hope this at least allows me to allow this RP to use certain words and events, such as death, h-e-double-hockey sticks, and the word that goes above dang in the naughty level.
Firstly, this RP will probably sound cliched, but >:O
The plot loosely follows the manga of Hoenn, but I spiffied it up. This is a rough plot overview of it.

Plot Overview
Tai is a young boy in the little town of Littleroot, at the age of 14. He and his 14 year-old childhood friend; son of the Prof, have agreed to both start a journey...as soon as Tai gets his pokemon permit.
However, things in Littleroot turn a little more exciting than Tai had expected. A new kid has come to town, claiming to be the child of the infamous Petalburg Gym Leader. While Tai and Rio go to check out this new kid at his house, things are heating up around Hoenn.
A dark group called Team Magma has been stirring up trouble on all sides of Hoenn, claiming to destroy their rival gang, Team Aqua, whom no one has even heard of before or seen. Team Magma has yet to be caught, the police force of Hoenn is weak compared to the fire-based criminals.
Tai and his friends travel around Hoenn to claim gym badges of Hoenn and enter the Pokemon League to be famed champions, yet discover that their fate is much more than simply that. They encounter the forces of both Aqua and Magma, getting in between a gang war...but is Aqua and Magma the only ones they should worry about?
Latios and Latias, two famed Legendary pokemon of Hoenn, haven't been seen for years on the continent. The pair has been an attraction for tourists, and dreams for pumped trainers. Yet their migrating routes have completly changed according to pokemon experts - in fact, they haven't been reported at all in Hoenn for years. Not even small-based rumors. What is the reason for this?
The trio of Littleroot begin their journey in their hometown. They will encounter many friends, as well as many foes. Hoenn awaits them.

I'd write more about the general plot, but then that would spoil the whole thing. It seems like the basic pokemon hoenn adventure at first.

Rules & FAQ
- You cannot Godmode, you'll get a few warnings then you're out
- You may get permission to powerplay (control other person's character), from that person that you're controlling, however. But it must be brief, you cannot go into a pokémon battle and powerplay as them, only a couple lines is fine.
- You may use any egg moves that the pokémon may have. But only logical ones.
- HMS are basiclly real moves. You don't need them.
- TMs are TMs. But you cannot abuse them...abusing will be notified with a warning.
- If the RP does not budge after 2 days, Jet will fast-foward the RP if he's around and power-play most characters. Be aware. I'm not an idiot though, I won't make your character extremly uncharacteristic. I'm a decent author.

A: No. Jet will PM people when he thinks they are able to catch legendaries and which ones they want, but this only occurs at the near end of the storyline. You're not going to get one, more than likely.

A: Outside of battle, yes. In battle, no. Your pokémon may use berries, however.

Description: Roughly like Gold from the Pokemon Manga, except his clothes are red instead of gold. Backwards cap on his black uncombed hair, pair of goggles set on the front of it. Wears an open jacket similar to Gold's with a black tee-shirt underneath. Dark green cargo pants with a dark brown belt. He keeps the pokeballs inside his jacket.
Personality: Tai is a cocky boy that is quite rash, believing that he is the Pokemon Champion once he gets his hands on his first pokemon. He's always seen his path to the champion being a smooth and easy ride, but with Rio being the only bump in it, his childhood friend that already owns a pokemon and is quite skilled in the knowledge and battle skills of them. He acts even more aggresive with Rio, with their rival connection between them. But deep inside, he's just an ordinary happy kid that believes in doing the right thing.
History: Has grown up in Littleroot with his friend Rio. The furthest he's ever ventured out of town is Oldale. His mother is an author at Littleroot, his father traveled away studying pokemon when Tai was at the young age of 7. He hasn't returned home or given word since.

Description: Mia's wardrobe usually consists of a black, non-split collared shirt with a azure, long-sleeved jacket overtop. When weather permits, she'll wear a pair of shorts, but otherwise a comfortable set of dark khakis works as well. Besides her shirt, she never wears anything form fitting. Accessory wise, she'll frequently wear a fine chain with a small, circular pendant.
Hiding under a white hat, Mia has black hair, bangs overgrown and jagged nearly to her eyes. Her light complexion works well with cloudy green eyes and slim frame.
Personality: A bit of a know it all, Mia is intelligent and well aware of it. Since her sheer instincts tend to be lacking, she originally aimed to be a researcher; however, it seems her sharp mind works quite well in battling. Wily and mischievious, she enjoys playing mind games (and winning). However, Mia has a kind heart and a strong conscience.
Eventually, she'll end up being somewhat of a "babysitter" for her other party members.
History: Unlike her father, Norman, Mia never expressed great interest in training Pokemon, though she enjoys studying about them. Overall, she says little about her past, and usually gets in a rather bad mood when it's brought up.
Staying in Petalburg for most of her life, she has recently moved with her family to Littleroot. However, she's not entirely thrilled of what she's heard of about the kids there her age, as well as the prospect of going on the Pokedex challenge...
Other: Mia is ambidextrous and a weak swimmer. She also picked up an unusual "habit" along her years, perhaps from her amusement from tricking people: crossdressing. All her clothing basically leaves her looking ambigious in gender, paired with her generally unfeminine nature to make a convincing boy.

Description: Rio has brown untidy hair that is semi long. It usually comes to about his eyebrows. Somewhat tan, and has brown eyes. Wears a black jacket with red outlining, black shoes, and white pants. Think Silver's outfit in those colors. He has an athletic build and is around 5' 5".
Personality: Somewhat of a cocky attitude, not as much as Tai though. Rio's point in collecting pokemon is to simply impress his dad, who hasn't paid as much attention to Rio as he should. Rio covers this up by making excuses as in wanting to beat down his rival Tai. With friend's, he'd stand by them, but make fun of any of their mistakes, which can back fire at certain times.
History: Originally born in in Littleroot, his father, Prof. Birch, moved to Pallet to become a understudy of Oak. His mother and father both worked with Oak most of the day which left Rio to wander the small town alone. This caused the inner dislike of his father. Before Birch left Oak as an understudy, Oak decided to let Rio choose a pokemon Oak owned as a present for Rio. After a long choice, Rio came upon a Charmander and took it. When they returned home, Rio played with his Charmander often, since his dad was always in the lab.(He did get burned quite a few times. But a little burn heal fixes that.) Rio has also trained with Charmander slightly to where it at least knows Ember.
Other: Likes to run more than use a bike, so Rio tends to be in shape.

Description: Amber doesn't wear what is on the picture, but instead wear's and navy blue cargo shorts, with a black halter top. Her red intermediate shoes match the red pokeballs lined on her brown belt, and she wears a pokenav on her thigh, strapped to it by a leather case. She has a blue wrist band on either arm, and has a black choker around her neck. (minus the wings in the picture) She is dangerously skinny, and her family never let's her forget it. Her legs are so skinny they're almost all muscle and no fat. Very little muscle at that. Her leather case is bound twice just for it to fit, and her wrist bands, had they not been for a child much smaller her age, would've been much to big. Amber is of medium height, and yet she sometimes wishes she was shorter, so the fact that she was so thin wouldn't stand out so much.
Personality: Amber is cheerful, friendly, and very caring. Of course, this is after you get to know her. She is what people call, 'prejudiced' and a first impression is able to tell her everything she needs to know about a person. Whether she'll stick around or not in other words. When faced with a challange, Amber will just as easily decline as she will accept. When she declines, she doesn't feel like she's chickening out, but instead, feels as though she's being logical. She know's her limit's, and will not enter a battle doomed for failure. Amber is a girl who hate's to lose, and if she loses, depending on the thing she's lost at, whether at ping-pong or a pokemon battle, most likely you will have to do it all over again, until she wins. Strong-willed and independant, Amber isn't a girl you can push around. Especially when it comes to her medication.
History: For as long as she could remember, Amber sat by, watching the kids run and play sports during P.E. But she could never join in, due to the fact that when she was young, her breathing problem was more then just intense. She could barely walk up a flight of stairs without dying of suffocation. And so her appearances in public other then school were few and far between. She knew nothing of friends, as she often turned away, hating to be around such normal people. Sitting in her wheelchair and being pushed around by an IA infuriated her. She hated it, hated being babied, hated being treated specially. And soon, with her inability to stomach a full meal, she grew thinner and thinner. Her doctor's told her that she would someday grow out of it, and become a normal person without ailments. But for the time being, she felt no hunger after a full day without a meal. Her disease was a mystery to everyone, unless she had more then one. It ended up she was a living, walking, disease. Not a contagious one, just a sort of orphanage for non-contagious diseases. She had respitory problems, stomach problems, muscle spasms, and all in all, it wasn't long before she wasn't even allowed to school anymore. Her brother, an accomplished trainer, had felt sorry for her, himself never being able to stay indoors for longer then 8 hours for sleep, sent her a pokemon he caught in Kanto, where he was exploring, far from her hometown of Sootopolis. The Gastly he sent was very mischivious, and not too happy that he was now a captured pokemon. After some major adjusting though, he was able to settle down enough to follow orders from Amber, and the two became best of friends. Amber vowed to find her brother in Kanto someday and thank him, determined to be able to show him at least a Haunter by then.
Other: Amber has trouble breathing, and therefore if there is even the slightest obscurity in her breath, she can easily fall into a coughing fit.

Description: Elaina wears the standard Aqua uniform: blue bandana with Team Aqua symbol, black swimming suit underneath a blue vest and blue pair of pants. She is especially tall for someone of Chinese descent; standing at 5'9"; which is without her 3" heeled boots. She has particularly dark features; black hair, olive skin, dark-brown eyes, and is never seen without her trademark extreme black eyeliner and lethal red lipstick. You'll never, not recognize her other trademark; her walk, with her back straight and head held regally high. Elaina strides with confidence that borders cockiness.
Personality: She is patient and reserved; a thinker, which is reflected in her leadership skills. She takes in to consideration all possible consequences before making a decision as to a course of action. However she has been known on several occasions to make brash and impulsive decisions whenever her pride is at stake. She knows she is better then most and will not hesitate to prove it through a pokemon battle or a verbal battle of wits.
History: Elaina is a master of the water element due to her constant exposure to the ocean during her childhood. She lived in an orphanage on a beach located in the Orange Islands; where her parents had abandoned her. Her first pokemon; a magikarp, was caught along the shores of Cinnabar when she went on a fishing trip with the orphanage.
At age 12, she set out on her pokemon journey. She acquired a squirtle as her starter pokemon when she applied for her permit and she caught an eevee during her travels. With her team of three, Elaina endured through many battles; either winning or losing and always improving. After beating a few gym leaders in Kanto, she travelled towards the Johto region. She liked travelling by boat on the ocean, so she was constantly going back and forth between the two regions. Once she collected a total of nine different badges from both regions, she boarded a ship in Vermillion city and eventually arrived in the Hoenn city of Slateport.
After traveling aimlessly for a short period of time, she eventually met and joined a group called Team Aqua. At only age 16, she was one of the youngest members of Team Aqua. On one of the team's ocean expeditions, their boat was attacked by a particularly vicious tentacruel. With great difficulty, Elaina managed to defeat and capture the ferocious pokemon, thus showing her worth as a pokemon trainer and Team Aqua member. Since the incident she has managed to climb her way to the top and is now an Elitist of Team Aqua.

Acquired From: Caught as a magikarp on Cinnibar Island. Just before Elaina left the orphange, she was fishing in a boat just off the shores of the Orange Islands. She fell asleep in the boat and did not notice a storm come in. She awakened when the waves began violently toss the boat back and forth in a game of catch. Elaina tried to row the boat back towards the beach, but the currents were much to strong for her. A strong wave came over her and the boat capsized. Although Elaina was a skilled swimmer, she was no match of the viscious, stormy ocean waves. Her magikarp; who had been swimming under the boat the whole time, saw Elaina's desperate attempts to resurface in order to get more air. Just when Elaina was about to black out, magikarp's strong maternal instincts kick in, and she evolved in to a gyarados to save Elaina.

Acquired From: Elaina recieved a squirtle as her starter pokemon. In a battle against the Cerulean Gym Sisters, squirtle evolved into wartortle in a desperate attempt to win... Only to end up losing still. However Wartortle had learned much from the battle and has continued to grow strong ever since.

Description: He's around 5'10, and weights about 190. He's muscular, has has a small beard. He has brown hair, but he keeps is buzzed. He generally wears collared shirts, and jeans. He has dark blue eyes, and very white teeth.
Personality: He's a very laid back guy, and doesn't have a very seriously outlook on life. He isn't worried about money, or housing, or anything. He takes life and it comes. However, when it comes to Pokemon battles, he gets VERY intense, and into the battle. It's like a completely different side of him is sparked during competition.
History: He lived in a middle class family as a kid, and had a normal childhood. He loved baseball, and played through high school. Once he graduated High School, he decided he would rather become a Pokemon trainer than attend college. His best friend Michael gave him his first Pokemon for his 19th birthday. The Slakoth which he was given is still his only Pokemon to date.

Description: Garret in a pair of Jeans and a Polo Shirt, dressing somewhat nicely to signify he's a leader.
Personality: Garret is the ringleader or the Oldale Gang. He's about 5'9 and 143 lbs., making him somewhat small. Garret battles with honor, passion, and talent, which explains his positiuon in the gang at such a young age. He's smart enough, but he doesn't try to flaunt anything and tries to take down those that he feels are "too cocky".
History: Garret was born in raised in Oldale, or "The most boring town on Earth", as he called it. Growing up was simple, he would just run around the village and play games instead of doing anything productive. At age 15 He caught his Growlithe outside of Oldale, seeing the story on the news and how terrified mothers pulled thier children inside. This is where his knack for battling was first shown to the public. Through even more battling he gained his reputation.... and his position.
