    Ok,So i have made it to the elite4 finally.I defeated Barry my question is am i ready to defeat the elite4 yet or should i train.

    Here is my team and with there stats


    Empoleon-Level 53

    Hp:173

    Moves:Brine,Aqua Jet,Drill Peck,Bubblebeam


    Torterra-Level 57

    I also have a Garatina i don't want to use enless i have to and then i have a level 12 beldum i am going to start training i want to use against the elite 4 once he is at least 50 and evolved.

    I am not looking for people to tell me that i should ev train or this and that.
    I train my pokemon my own way and don't try to make them mindless drones.

    I am looking for a yes or no if i could take the elite 4 with no issues.i also have money for potions and revives so no biggy there.
     
    You only have four pokemon? I think that you could. Buut, if you are really worried about anything, I would train the first three up to 60, and the last one up to 55-60. That Beldum would come in handy, if you are willing to train it. Buut, I don't find it necessary. In all honesty, you really just need 1-2 high levels.

    K thxs for your advice.I have only been using intill about level 45 the 3 starters.Then i got a electabuzz and evovled it and added it to group.Then i made my mind up for my 5th pokemon i wanted metagross.Still have not made mind up on 6th
     
    K i just beat the first elite 4 member with only my infernape alone with the stats and levels i gave above.Infernape thou is now level 59 and almost 60.

    Edit:2nd elite 4 is down.It took my torterra and empoleon to do it but it worked.Empoleon is now 54 also.I gave beldum the exp share and he is now level 20 and is metang.Im hoping i can take the last 2 with my 4 man team and i have not even had to use my 4th pokemon yet.

    Edit:3rd elite 4 i lost to.I got him down to his infernape and magmortar.By that time i only had empoleon left due to me using my infernape and torterra as like a hitting target to revivive my empoleon a few times.

    Well i have the legendary still but i don't want to use him due to i don't like using legendarys.

    Edit:Empoleon is 57,infernape is now 61.I was able to barly beat the 3rd one this time not sure how ill do with 4th.

    Bronzong is only powerful in diamond and pearl i got platinum i have to watch for his level 59 gallade or whatever you spell it.

    I didn't take the mime out fast and was able to build up a good defense and then take my team out 1 hit's with psychic.

    The 4th elite 4 guy just destroys me and my infernape is now 61.Its making no sense why i am losing when i have a level advantage.

    Edit:11th time i have lost to the elite 4 today.I think im going to go to bed and cool off because if i get to pissed of i might break my nintendo ds in pieces.

    Ill try again tommarow.
     
    you should go for a sneasel to counter his psychic types, psychic can't hit him/her. Also I would try to evolve it into Weavile before taking him on too. Weavile is fast, and powerful. Also if you give it shadow claw it can still counter Gallade.

    Also, you lost even with the level advantage because Infernape is Vulnerable to Psychic types. you can't win with Infernape alone, with Lucian, he's only good against Bronzong.

    Are you using Revives in between battles? That is what I always did. It is useful strategy. Aand, Empoleon is rubbish, when fighting a fire pokemon, use Torterra. Empoleon is part steel, so use him against pokemon who use physical attacks like slash and etc, because it won't do much damage to him.
     
    I don't see how torterra would be good against fires at all, mainly because he is so slow. And besides, unless any changes have been made, is torterra doesn't know earthquake
    However, if you are going to use torterra against fires, make sure it has earthquake and give it a quick claw (or some item that can boost speed).
     
    Well i just rolled out of bed i was sick and had a head acke but feeling better.Um no torterra does not know earthquake.My Empoleon can single handed take down the fire elite 4 flint.
     
    Well, I beat with a level 60 Empoleon and some level 40s and 20s. Toxic is a very good move to have, so I'd get that. I would reccomend filling up your whole team. They don't have to be level 50, they just have to be able to help. But, maybe make your team more diverse. You've only got a few different moves. I had one of each moves when I took them on.

    Because i train and choose my pokemon on looks and how i like them and there ways.I do not choose to ev train them and treat them like trash and turn them into drones.
