3rd Gen Emerald Berry Glitch: Why? and How Do I Get Rid of It?!

So basically, a week or two ago, I fire up my Emerald, and I find out, in a slow-moving-for-no-adequately-explored-reason message, that my game's "internal battery has run out". Considering that my game's reset on its own 2 times now (the first time, I had topped 600 hours, and the second, I had topped 300, and now, I'm at 76 hours...), I heard rumors that if you play it too much, the clock's supposed to run out. What I thought was that Emerald couldn't get the Berry Glitch, but now that it did, I tried to fix it using FireRed's Berry Glitch Fix, but for some reason, my FireRed is never able to help Emerald, or Ruby/Sapphire for that matter. So, my question: can Emerald (well, my Emerald in this case) be rid of this annoying glitch? Or also, why won't FireRed fix it?

the internal battery has run out? i never experienced it but i have heard of it
i think it is caused by these problems:
-fake game
-cheated
-got wet
-heated in the sun
i know how you feel....my emerald was fake and everytime i started out new one if i saved it and turn it off...the next time it says it was been deleted due to corruption

From what I remember, the R/S/E carts had an internal battery to support the time affected events such as berries and Master Blender, events activated by TV etc.

If the internal battery has run out, there is really only three things you really can do.
1. Unscrew open the back casing and change the battery inside. But for this you will need a special Nintendo screwdriver.
2. Send it to Nintendo or the shop you bought it from. They may replace it for you.
3. Just carry on playing...

The clock stops working simply because the battery inside is flat.
