Hey guys. I been playing Emerald on the VBA link Emulator, I beaten the Champion and Sat through the end Credits. But when I try to continue the game, it says the save game has been corrupted and/or erased. I reloaded a state save and beat the elite 4 all over again and the same thing happens. Any help? Has this happen to anyone else?

    Have you hacked the rom?

If you havent hacked the rom,it may be cause the emerald rom is not stable, and it gots broken very easy. :\

No I didn't hack it I think. I did use the VBA link to trade over some pokemon from a copy of the save file. Do you have a link for a stable version, being that mine is corrupted.

Hmm... You need to start again. But you need to change the save type to 128kb.

Well I kinda already did start over. So do I change the save type and start over again or just change and continue. P.s. I've reached Dewford Island at this point.

I'd say you have to start form scratch and change the save type, as Goodies said. Also, Emerald is known for being unstable. Its one of those annoying things we have to do sometimes :\

To my knowledge, Emerald isn't "unstable." That's just an idea perpetuated by the many ROM hacking tools are not fully compatible with Emerald.
