    Right before battling certain trainers in the Pokemon series a catchy little tune plays that differs among each Trainer class. How many of you guys actually stop and listen to that little tune before the battle?

    I always do, simply because they're usually catchy and cute, like the Tuber/PokeKid music in Sinnoh. What about everyone else? Or do you just jump right into battle?
     
    The first few times I might pay a bit of attention to them but after a while I don't really pay the much attention to it so no.
     
    Garys battle music in Red and Blue was intense.
     
    I like them, especially the special trainer and Pokemon music (legendaries, elite 4 and such.) I don't know how people can find them annoying, I hardly notice the normal ones.
     
    I love the pre-battle music :) It gives the in-game characters more of a personality, if you know what I mean. In Emerald, I loved the Swimmer music and the Aroma Lady music. In D/P/P, the Hiker and Elite Four music was really catchy.
     
    I do that if its a pre-battle song that I like. I can't think of the trainers that have a tune I like at the moment.
     
    The pre-Cynthia piano is IMO one of the best songs in the game.

    Otherwise I love the Hiker one. it sounds so happy and awesome.
     
    I don't pay much attention to them most of the time. Still, I think that I like some of them. Not to forget, I love the Cynthia encounter music. Its a really beautiful tune~
