5th Gen English Release Date Discussion [EU - March 4, US - March 6, AUS - March 10]

rumours have been flying that European fans will be getting their hands on the monochromatically-titled games of monster mastery two days earlier on March 4. At this point there's been no official word from Nintendo Europe however, and the official European site for the new Pokémon titles is still listing a vague 'Spring 2011' release window.

Remember, this is only based on word of mouth and isn't officially comfirmed anywhere by Nintendo (though there is a pattern of new info being released on Monday, so it's possible). And as such, until a release date is announced somewhere on an official Nintendo site, we won't be changing the thread title to reflect it.

Really hoping Europe gets it on March 4th, because that means we'll get it on March 3rd probably. When HG/SS was released, Aus got it a day before Europe, so that's what I'm really thinking will happen this time if Europe does get it before America. If not, then March 10th imo.

I know like I said it does seem plausible giving 4th March is a Friday, but yeah, I just got a little excited. I really should take care when looking into these things, still hoping March 4th though.

Well, the most it'll probably be is 4 days after the American release but by going by past statistics regarding Europe, it really is possible anything is possible at this point. XD

Unfornately this information is most likely FALSE. Because:
1. The cover of Pokémon Black on vooks.net has the ESRB logo on it. In Europe there aren't ANY GAMES which do have that logo on it.
2. Both of the sources don't give an link to an OFFICIAL Nintendo-page who says that. aussie-nintendo even says it's still a rumour.
 
European B/W Release Date

Just heard on Bulbanews that the release date for Pokémon Black & Pokémon White is 4th March, two days before the American release. Finally for once we get a game before USA, still not sure why as USA are alot closer to Japan so usually they get the games in stock first, but no complaints from me.

Though, it's not the first time. We got Mario Kart Wii first. Unless you mean Pokemon specifically. And, it's got nothing to do with the USA being closer to Japan. It's got to do with Europe having a dozen more languages than North America.

1) - They could of just found a random english picture of the internet. D;

2) - In the second link they did say Rumors have been flying so don't count it as real or fake just yet.

We're already discussing the possible chance of the European Release date to be before after or at the same time of America in this thread, so please continue here. :)
 
I don't think it's impossible we will get it before North America. Remember Korea got HG/SS in febuary, a month before most countries.

I doubt the two days earlier than europe will happen, thats just silly speculation, the date wasn't based to be two days earlier than europe, it was just a set date to meet shipping dates etc...

I think the US might just get the games first, it was kinda "announced" first in an other country other than japan on pokemon.com first, there was also Zekrom and Reshiram in that parade.
 
It was confirmed on the Official Pokemon website that it will be released on March 6th. Or you could pre order from "Play-Asia",or reserve it from Gamestop.
 
This would all make sense if Nintendo/Game Freak are aiming for a simultaneous release.

Since Europe gets new games on Friday and the USA gets new games on a Sunday. This situation would be as close as they could get to a simultaneous release. Australia gets new games on a Thursday I believe, so if they're aiming for a simultaneous release they would get the game on March 3rd.

The only problem is we don't know whether they're aiming for a simultaneous release.

I like the idea of the simultaneously release idea. It would make a lot of sense to. :'3

I would be so happy it that turns out to be true :) Finally the USA gets a pokemon game last! Still I believe the 4th of march is fake.
 
It would be very nice if we got it before America, I am bored of you lot getting all the games first, even if it is only by a few days! XD
