[RMXP]ENIGMA: Cosmos Edge [Non-Pokemon Game]
[I will be updating the front post once new information comes about. The graphics and battle system are almost done, but the storyline and areas are still in development. I have a team for the story and all that, but I'm the lead of the team.
Also, credit goes where credit is due, no matter what. This game isn't going to be, and shouldn't be sold for a market price, no matter what. If there are any issues with giving credit, let it be for scripts, graphics, or else, please post here saying if I didn't credit someone correctly. I'm just human, I forget sometimes. :P Also, this is the first time I'm submitting anything to a forum in a long while. D: I need help organizing my stuff on here. ]

:The Far Future:
The tides of fate hit mankind, as the Earth lost all of its resources to keep going. The atmosphere begun to destroy itself bit-by-bit, and the sun grew larger and larger, bit by bit. Those who were religious prayed to their deities, and died from the sun's never-ending spite.
Those who knew science used it. They built underground caverns, and thus the humans were protected. ...And they started learning. They built, and worked together to create new resources to keep substance to the race, cured cancer, and cured death through genetic engineers.
A resistance group called Seraphs was called forth to resist the need of science to prove everything, and thus they studied, and called forth alchemy, and magicks never seen before by anyone.
The scientists learned to split the atom without a bother, and the Seraphs learned how to
carve into life and create new, improvative things.
Eventually, mankind met beings from another planet. These beings were from a sort of a Federation of different planets with intelligent life. Mankind joined the Federation, and sped through the ranks. Eventually, the leader of Earth became the leader of the Federation.
And humanity reigned throughout the universe. And with humanity comes war. Those who could summon magic were deeply in contrast with those who could end life to create a magic. And thus, war almost formed.
It was an unknown individual who called himself Xenofear who stopped it all. He was part of no factions, had no identity, and, with one speech, brought back an uneasy peace.
The Universe's view on Humans became hatred. They hated how everyone turned against each other only because human nature was imprinted upon them via legalized propaganda and societies, and they wanted Xenofear to rule. And thus, Xenofear stepped onto the throne.
Civil war broke out. The people who believed in human societies were directly against those who were against human societies, and the flames of war began. Not only that, but the dispute between the Seraph and the Scientists turned into all-out war, and thus, 2 Institutions were created.
One Institution was named "The Institution for a Peaceful World," called PW as a slang term. They said to everyone that they were righteous, and represented the freedom of magic, and the destruction of humanity amongst the universe.
The other was called "The Informants," who said nothing, and represented the scientists and their lust for knowledge "for the greater good." "For The Greater Good" became their slogan, but they were called "corrupt" because they represented humanity.
In fact, both sides were corrupt. Each side was building weapons for all-out war.
The universe ended in pure destruction. Post-nuclear weapons threatened the life of the universe itself, and thus, it ended.
A plan was created by Xenofear beforehand, however. Both institutions would be lost in time, in their own respective planes of existance, and they would be moved there automatically once reality was deformed.
And one large planet was created named Solice, which had the power to bring everything back.
And thus the True Cold War began, as both sides sent informative to this new planet. The planet had it's own people, completely oblivious to the events everywhere else. They knew nothing of the occurrence and they survived it all. They were innocent.
"Solice," the planet was named.
And thus, a cold war was planned as a race to control reality.
:SOLICE:
Crimson is an informative sent to take over Solice, and see victory.
...And Xenofear is the one pulling the strings behind everything.

Update Nov 29, 2009
Spoiler:
GAME UPDATE
Well, I've been working slowly towards a demo. The maps are going to be gigantic. One of the larger maps is 100x150, for example.
I also need to add some information on the battle system's summoning system.
The game will have a pretty decent amount of summons, extra party members, and all of that. There are also different types of summoning in the game.
The first type of summoning summons a monster [Sort of like an Esper, or an Eidolon], leaving only the summoner and the monster and pushing the other team members to the side.
The Active Party is your main party who you battle with, while your Side Party are the people who are capable of switching with your active party. [Think Final Fantasy 12.]
The second type of summoning is when you have a party member in your Side Party join your Active Party. Pretty much, he joins your Active party, which makes you have 5 people to control instead of 4. This can be up to 6, 7, et cetera. However, when the battle ends, all of the summoned party members go back to the Side Party to be summoned later.
Switching Party Members in battle: In battle, you can switch party members. Some party members can't be switched, based on certain events. You switch party members from your Active Party to your Side Party, and vice-versa.
Forms:
Think Super Sayan 2, 3, or 4. The character in battle becomes stronger, is given new powers, and looks stronger as well. After the battle ends, the character turns back [There are some exceptions, of course. :P]
Ultimate Summons:
The Ultimate summons are a summon or a group of summons [Around 2 if in a group] that are pretty hard to pull off, but they replace the party members and they are ALL pushed to the side. They can "Retire" in battle [if you select the command] to bring all party members back. Also, when the battle ends, the Ultimate Summons Retire automatically, anyway.

Update:
I've been taking a short break from working on the game, by the way. I've been doing some interviews for colleges, one being DeVry, which will be tomorrow. Being a senior in high school, I have a lot of things to do, unfortunately, and my team is down south in real life, in southern California. Fortunately, I'll be moving down there after high school, where we can work harder on the game.
[Also, I'm getting Assassin's Creed II. I have a life, you know! ^_^]
