I am planning on making a hack which consists mostly of fakemon. However to make it seem more like a version and less of a hack, I am including some old pokemon. I have tried to include enough pokemon in the programming so it doesn't seem like any pokemon are missing.

I am giving the illusion that it's one version of two. That's why for example, you can catch teddiursa and ursaring, and in game trainers use snubbull. Thus three memorable pokemon are present, version exclusives are implied, and I can take the forgettable granbull out of programming. Other tricks include omitting ditto as a catchable, so I can get away with only programming in partial lines for male only and genderless pokemon.

Also I want there to be at least one fully evolved pokemon of each possible type (including every normal dual type). This is why I included bibarel and girafarig. I also tried to include all the pokemon that have appeared in every previous game. Finally there are no omissions related to evolution that are not dealt with. All the unobtainable baby pokemon are unobtainable because the incenses are unavailable, and this is explained in game through the incense show which sells incenses that are required for fakemon.

Is the following enough? (A good way of knowing is if you ctrl+f a pokemon you think should be in there, and it isn't, let me know)

Obtainable: (note if only part of an evolutionary line is not there, it's deliberate)

In Platinum, I believe it's roughly 150 just like in every other game, but I'm not sure...usually, there's about 10 - 15, counting evolutions, that are only obtainable in the other version...(?). Anyway, this sounds completely different from anything I have ever heard of, or seen. A planned out Fakemon hack might not be too bad, if you can find a good spriter for it. :) Good luck.
