Okay, the first game is up, and it's probably going to get confusing. So, to make it simpler, I've broken it down into its two component games:
Capture the Flag
Each orb contains one flag of a team color. (For example, the black orb contains a black flag and is guarded by the Black Team.) Each team is assigned a color different from their own, and their goal is to capture the flag in their respective orbs. (For example, Black Team is assigned the color pink. Therefore, they need to break into Pink Team's orb and get the flag. Once that happens, they win and don't have to be in the action anymore.) Thus, teams will need to defend their own orbs while accessing someone else's. The lineup (the colors each team is assigned) are as follows:
#. Team: Color
1. White: Red
2. Pink: Blue
3. Red: Green
4. Orange: Black
5. Yellow: Indigo
6. Green: Yellow
7. Blue: Orange
8. Indigo: Violet
9. Violet: White
10. Black: Pink
Magic Squares
Because this is the Knowledge Fragment, things get a bit harder. Each orb has a lock that can be undone with a magic square. (No, you can't break into the orb by brute force.) Each of these are level 3 magic squares, which means they're composed of three numbers going across, down, and diagonal. For example:
6 1 8
7 5 3
2 9 4
Each of the rows add up to fifteen. Each of the columns add up to fifteen. Even going diagonal adds up to fifteen. (For example, 6+1+8=15, 6+7+2=15, and 6+5+4=15.)
Touching the orb calls up a screen on its surface that has a magic square diagram with the first number filled in. (I'll give you the placement of the first number when you access the panel.) So, for example, you might see this:
_ 1 _
_ _ _
_ _ _
Touching one of the spaces in this puzzle would generate the number two in that space. So, for example, if you touched the top left corner, you'd get this:
2 1 _
_ _ _
_ _ _
Keep touching boxes in order to produce the next number in the sequence. So, the second box you touch will produce the number three and so forth.
Of course, on top of that, no person can touch more than one box in a row. As stated in the post, for example, Aesir can't fill in a box with the number two and then fill in another one with the number three. Someone else from the Green Team needs to come along and touch a box before he can touch another one. Thus, you end up having to work as a team and interact with one another, and no one solves the puzzle by themselves.
Because I'm lazy, I'll only give you the first number, and you can solve the rest on your own with any sequence you want so long as every row, column, and diagonal add up to fifteen by themselves. I encourage you to interact with each other and talk things over with every other player (IC and OOC) to figure out how you're going to do it. If you need NPCs to help you, feel free to ask.
Also, yeah, if you don't get the magic square to work properly but fill it in anyway, it resets. You can, however, erase numbers simply by touching them again.
The Battle
Technically a given, not a game. Every team will be wanting to defend their orbs or beat up another team to get at an orb. You're free to use combat skills or Pokémon to take out other players. A player is out of commission for the rest of the game if he and his Pokémon are knocked out.
How to Win
Be the first team to finish the puzzle. The orb will vanish, and you need to grab the flag before the opposing team takes it.
How to Lose
Do any of the following:
1. Be the last one to finish the puzzle.
2. Have your entire team (including yourself) wiped out in battle.
3. Be unable to finish the puzzle (because the rest of your team's knocked out).
Anyone in between will just be runners-up and are safe from being ejected.
Okay with everyone? Good luck!
