    Ohiyo!
I am looking for a teacher to help me get to grips with all of this, I am not a good student I believe; you know, a little slow in the head. I started out and already feel pretty overwhelmed.
Seriously I am not aware how to import tools or even change the tile set, change the main menu or start out cutscenes.
I don't mind if you suggest video tutorials or directions to helpful tools and written guides but remember I am practically a blank slate.
Alternatively you could feel I am not up to the task and just join me in making something (not advised I am insufferable and I have a plan

Hopefully I didn't break any rules? Honestly I am trying

You may find this tutorial useful. I can't vouch for it myself, but I see it suggested a lot.

Softs made me aware of this already.
That said that doesn't diminish you're kindness and you're attempt to help me so from the bottom of my heart I appreciate your efforts.
Thanks for helping me get steps closer to completing my goal, love you, you're an amazing person ☺️

Feedback on how is considering you are uncertain, It's workable, it doesn't teach you code indepthly but shows you how to utilize preexisting things within Pokémon Essentials. (Copy, paste, alter)
Honestly some of it doesn't completely stick In mind because of this and even though it becomes familiar it's still foreign. You will find yourself completely blanking BUT the videos are so short and such a way you can easily refind and refresh on the topic.
I guess it's like going in a cave without flash, you know theirs another destination...You just have to bump in the wall a few times , sometimes being redirected to the beginning but if you put in the effort you can still find it.
That's my experience with it at least...

Some of the coding is not really what I want but I am trying to make it work

The tutorial linked is a great way to learn how Pokémon Essentials works. You won't understand how its the actual code works (because that tutorial is predominantly, if not entirely, eventing) without learning the basics.
It's also in part trial and error. By following along and putting your own twist on things, you'll gain a better understanding as to how Essentials works behind the scenes.

Hey, above all things remember that it will take time. It took me two years to get where I am today with Shatterpoint, and all you've gotta do is learn by watching and trying yourself. The discord is quite helpful for scripting questions as well.

I guess it's part of why i am feeling a little undermotivated because i think I got a feeling plaging me like i am stealing? It's probably not true to be so flawless, I am creating a short game at the moment so i don't think i will make any slips but the larger it is, i am sure its easier to make errors and to stumble on the pathway as you attempt to knit each little part together...
I think I want to know the code tho, I guess i am troublesome to have that urge besides maybe atm it will be useless to know since the update will be soon amongst other things
Thanks tho Marin, you done some great work btw, by chance i read your reasoning for leaving the phoenix rising project and you were perfectly justified, it sounds like you were put through too much strain and some people kind of look like sabtours considering, its good you released that demo, it was better then it being completely broken

I am aware it does take time but one of my upevils is it is not looking how i want it too right now, some of the items i want and need are on different map sets, i guess its just bewildering to me, I want it to look a certain way and i can't make it look that way, then bits and pieces, if i learn how to import things i probably could to a degree but then i have to undo everything i have done to make it work atm a part of me is like 'i don't need essentials, i just need to know how to make thoose parts work in a similar way!' because i don't even know if the coding is all a construction exclusive to it or not , I never knew how horrible it will be just to have grass on something you don't want grass on or how much you can miss brick and cobble stones ....my head is hurting from just recalling the monstrousity i created just because making a alleyway is impossible
    um discord?
Anyway i guess it dosen't help because youtube being shitty with me so i haven't got far in the episodes, its either blurry or just..its not working...But we are kinda having a whole internet crisis over here so...yeah..
