Eternal Nightmare - [PG-16]

I can't just sit back and watch while Darkrai do whatever he pleases! Saphyre thought angerily. She walked out of the room and packed a couple precious things into the skull she wore. Saphyre picked up her bone and walked around in her house. She blew ut all of the candles, she didn't want her house to have burnt down when she came back. Then Saphyre walked out of her house, closing the door behind her.

Saphyre lived in the middle of town, so she had to walk through the town to get out of it. She looked around as she walked. Hardly any houses had lights. Those that did were probally electric type Pokemon. Saphyre really didn't hold a grudge agaisnt those electric types, they could make themselves light. It wasn't there fault they could, they were born with it and it wasn't their fault that everybody else didn't have electricity.

Saphyre turned a corner and stopped. A foot or so away from her were the Lucario brothers and Julie. She had never talked to any of them before. Mostly because she was afraid of Lucifer. She hated herself for being afraid of him. Shapyre tried not to be. However, it was harder said then done.
 
Julie heard footsteps behind her.She turned around and saw a cubune she was told called Saphyre standing there.Julie waved with the hand Silver wasn't holding and turned back to Silver.She had never talked to Saphyre,which she felt was a real shame,she liked making friends.

"Earth to Silver,earth to Silver!"Julie said beens Silver hadn't said anything.
 
Silver shook his head and sighed.

"No, people might hate us for having power..."

Why have you gone, Darkrai? What is happening to us?

He noticed someone turn the corner but stopped there. Silver rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Brother, how many times do I tell you to stop scaring people?"
 
"Did that stop me?Its not our fault we have it and they don't.And if they're that worked up about it then they don't deserve it.If they had it they wouldn't care if other people didn't,so they're just being selfish.I want to help the others get electricity and I plan to help others get it today if it drains every last persentage of my energy."Julie said.

Julie laughed at how Silver reacted when Lucifer tried to scare people.

"Nice try Lucifer."she said.
 
Saphyre was surprised at Julie waving to her. However, she waved back. Saphyre looked back at Lucifer and then at Silver. She had heard a lot about these two brothers. Though, she usually didn't believe rumors. Sahpyre decided to take the risk and walk over to them. She stopped in front of them. "Hi. I'm Sahpyre." She wondered why they were out at night. They are probally wondering the same thing about me. Sahpyre thought. Do you get the nightmares too? Or maybe the insomnia?
 
"Hi,I'm Julie."Julie said smiling."I have the dumb nightmare curse,how about you?"

Julie assumed everyone had one of the curses.She turned to Silver.

"Silver isn't one to talk much right now I guess."Julie said.

(Ooc:Angel i assumed she didn't say the last part outloud,because there were no quote marks around it,I assumed she wondered that to herself.

Saphyre smiled slightly at Julie. "Its nice to meet you Julie and Silver. You too, Lucifer."

When Julie mention the curse she pursed her lips. Just the mention of the word, curse or nightmare brought the nightmare back. It was like living the nightmare 24/7. And Saphyre didn't like it. She shook her head, trying to push the nightmare out of her head. She stopped thinking about it. However, it didn't leave her head it just snuck into the back of her head. Waiting to strike again when Saphyre fell asleep. "Unfortunately, I also have the nightmare curse. I don't understand how Darkrai can sit back and watch his people suffer. Its not right."
 
Julie looked at Silver and Lucifer and shook her head.

"Ignore they're quietness.I wish I could go clober Darkri but anyone to lay a hand on him will probably be killed,if I was a betting pokemon I'd bet that anyone to say one word about him being bad whatsoever would be killed too."Julie said."So where are you off to?"

Julie squeezed Silver's hand,which is what she usually does if he's getting to quiet.
 
Saphye rolled her eyes and scoffed at Julie's words. "I really don't care if I am killed. I don't want to just lay down and act like Darkrai, who's suppose to be protecting us, is letting this curse torture his people. Even to the point of death!" Saphyre tried to fight the tears. However, a couple steamed down her cheeks. Her best friend, a prankful Ponyta, had died a couple days ago. Saphyre wished she could say it was because of the lack of food. However, it wasn't. Her friend had the nightmare curse too and she couldn't take it anymore... Saphyre had been the one to find her.

Saphyre shook her head, tying to push the memories down. She didn't want to think about it. Saphyre swallowed and looked at Julie again. "I'm going to Darkrai's castle. Even if I do have to go alone."

Silver frowned. Was he the only one here who believed that Darkrai was still good?

"You can't know for sure that it's his fault..."

He frowned even more.

"Everyone just goes straight to blaming him, and hating him. It's not right. Have any of you ever considered that maybe something happened that was out of his power? I agree though, we should go visit the castle. I'm surprised no one else has yet..."
 
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you mad.Julie said."Silver I don't know any more,weither its his fault or not."

Julie shook her head as she said it.She noticed that a few tears went down Saphyer's face.Julie knew this was a hard time,and she didn't know why Saphyer was crying,but she could tell there was a good reason.She grabbed Silver's paw.

"I'll go with you guys to the castle too then.The more of us the better,cause even if they do try to kill us,they'll have less of a chance the more of us."Julie said.

Julie nodded.She partly wanted to go because she agreed they needed to,partly because she agreed with what she said,and partly because she didn't want Silver to without her,and she didn't want to be split up from Silver.
 
Silver wrapped his arms around Julie and sighed.

"I'm sorry... The whole thing is just... Sensitive to me..."

He held her close and looked at the group.

Four of us... We should wait for more people...

"Hm... Maybe we should ask some people if they'd like to come?"
 
"I know Silver."Julie said.

"Good point,everyone should be awake,we all have a problem.The nightmares make us wake up,and the curse keeps us up."Julie said.

"Should we split up and gather people and meet back here when we feel that we've got enough?"Julie asked.

Julie was perfectly content with Silver's arms around her.She loved him so much.
 
Saphyre looked at Silver and pressed her lips together. Why would he think Darkrai was innocent? If he was innocent wouldn't he be trying to do something? They hadn't seen Darkrai since he came down for the new year. He always came down to celebrate the new year with them. "Maybe. I still want to go to the castle, though."

Saphyre looked at Silver and Julie. Why did they want to go together? Though, Saphyre didn't mind. She was glad to be in a group. They could help keep each other up, especially, with Lucifer with them. "Alright. We'll meet back here." Saphyre nodded her head.
 
Julie turned and began to run towards Volt's house.She had talken to Volt a few times,and she was sure they could use him.She ran up to his front door and knocked.She waited.she hoped he would come with them,because the more pokemon the better.She didn't know many pokemon,there wern't many pokemon to know.She continued knocking,waiting.
 
Silver followed her, and stood by her. He took her paw in his and smiled at her.

"I don't wanna split up from you..."

He said cooly. She had suddenly run off while he was still holding her. How could she not notice when she jerked away from his grasp like that?

"I love you..."

He added, kissing her cheek. He was a little hurt when she broke away from him like that, he was beginning to wonder if something was the matter with her...

"Is everything okay, Julie...?"

He said a bit quietly.
 
Cain had left his home and was now wandering the streets. He stumbled upon a group of Pokemon who were intending to travel to Darkrai's castle. To make matters worse, one of them actually had electricity. Cain grunted to himself in displeasure.

It shouldn't be fair that someone gets electricity while I don't, he thought to himself. I should teach her a lesson in compassion. And when Cain meant compassion, he meant pain. Cain followed them as they apparently headed to find other Pokemon to accompany them. He hid in the shadows, watching them. He had not made up his mind on what exactly he intended to do. Perhaps I can pay a visit to their home and get rid of her electricity altogether?

Cain smiled and continued to observe them, wondering his next plan of action.
 
Silver's ears perked up. He sensed some rather unhappy aura coming from behind them. Amber eyes glowed as his aura sense showed him. He walked up to the pokemon who was having violent thoughts about Julie.

"Excuse me sir, but do you have a problem with my mate?"

He had a fist clenched as he pressed it against his other paw. He growled a bit.

"Don't you even think of hurting my Jewel..."

He waled back to Julie and frowned. He awaited her response.

Julie put her paw over her mouth.

"I'm sorry Silver,I didn't notice you were here,I guess my sleeplessness and nightmares are getting to my head."She said with a quivering voice.

She continued knocking on Volts door.When he didn't come she pulled a pen and some paper out of her bag and wrote a note about what they were doing and about how they'd like him to come and slipped it under the door.

"The closest house is Cain's house,but I think he hates me."Julie said bowing her hed saddly."I'd give him electricity,but I don't think he would talk to me for me even to ask if he wants me too."

Julie hated the idea of someone hating her.Her voice made her sound like she was depressed,which she was when it came to the thought of someone hating her.
 
Cain observed as the Lucario approached him. He noticed his oddly colored fur, and his strange colored eyes, But Cain wasn't the least bit frightened of him. The way he looked and acted, Cain would be the one appearing more intimidating. Cain snarled at the Lucario. He was bit surprised he managed to ascertain what he had been thinking. He thought it could be some sort of sensing ability.

"My problem is that while I have to sit and dwell in shadows, its people like these that have electricity that sickens me. If I don't have it, I see no reason for your mate to. But you're stepping over your reach, boy. I'm not someone you ought to be messing with, and I'm not in a particularly good mood, so why don't you turn tail and get out of my face, or mine will be the last face you ever see again."

Cain grinned a bit, growling at him.
