Ethereality

My new..est... comic is Ethereality.

Ethereality is based on a Post-Fr/Lg world where, after Red's abilities finally diminish, Team Rocket returns. Cliche, I know. Rocket, having a new more organized system, has taken command of Kanto, but instead of ruling with iron fist, it rules with a much more democratic and peaceful style. With the usual iron fist hidden behind that.

The last remaining haven for Anti-Rockets is the Trainer Tower on Island 7. However, the TT now serves as a port for people wishing to visit Cherrygrove Island, a small island that holds some purpose unknown to everyone... except the enigmatic Rocket leader.

The Nurse.Cast is an underground radio system where Nurse Time, Dr. Time, and Ms. Day (The Chansey) report the events of the war, from Cherrygrove Island itself.

Wow, the comic section of this forum is coming back in full swing.

First off, what does Ethereality mean? Or is it just a word you made up :D?

Your comic is awesome. Even though it's early days, and I don't know the main characters, I feel cool with it. The visuals were fantasic in Comic 1 - I loved the submarine, the green explosions, and the body in the water... I think it's spelt "Mortar", but I might be wrong.

As for Nurse Cast, apart from it being a completely original idea - I don't quite get it. So they fill in plot details that some might not pick up from the actual comic?

This really looks like a great comic so far! The good thing is the graphics, the explosions and what not. The story is pretty easy to follow, but it will be even better once the comics increase!

Two new comics are up. I might do a Nurse.Cast tomorrow for them.

Introducing the mysterious Mr. Benefactor, growing on Mr. White Cap, introducing Mr. Red Cap, and two protagonists, and somewhat introducing Capitano, who is TR's leader. Yes, his name is Capitano.

Also, two of the three member characters have appeared. Fly, you'll come in next.

I'm enjoying the comic so far, friend. It's TPH, if you remember me. :]

A few things I notice..

Storyline/Plot: Your overall plot seems to be good and engaging, but at some points, it seems like you're leaving us guessing as to what the story is about. You also don't explain some things, and it seems like the story is a little askew. Hopefully this is on purpose and you will be explaining things later on.

Grammar/Punctuation: I've noticed a few little errors here and there grammatically. Nothing big, but always review your comic afterwards, before posting for typos and corrections needed.

Sprites/Effects: I am loving the effects you've brought to this. Some great explosions and sprite effects. But, I did notice in comic 2, the sailor was in the water and it seemed like he wasn't put quite-right in the spot. Always make sure to align sprites and backgrounds into "realistic" or as realistic as you can get with a sprite comic.

Overall, I'm loving it, can't wait for more. Good work!! ^__^

My one off newscast to explain things on KD for new readers inspried it? Awesome!

Comic 2 and 3 are good. I'm a little confused - In Comic 3, was Az (Azzy lol)'s ship blown up just as he left by Anti-Rockets?
Effects were awesome (Especially Quick running fast). It makes me think I gotta get Photoshop so I can match you.
Btw, with all these character entries, are you going to impose the Decepticon rule? - Post or be killed? :D

Ethereality actually means being like sort of otherworldly and celestial. It comes from 'ethereal'. x3
but in this case it just sounds cool. xD

Well, not much to say since it's just getting started, but it seems promising~ I like the overall look of it, y'know? The effects and everything were nice, but #3 is a little confusing. I bet it'll come together though. Looking forward to the next~ especially since Mira's coming in soon
