[Scripting Question] Event/NPC asks for a certain pokemon and reset his level to lvl5

Is there a way to reset a concerned pokemon from your party to level 5 via an event/NPC?

For example you go with pikachu to Hoenn region after you have done the kanto and johto league. The gyms in Hoenn have a level gap. pokemons above a certain level are not allowed to participate so you will have to restart but pikachu can then be reset to level 5 so you can use him.

Are you wanting a hard reset where Pikachu will be reset to level 5 and you have to start from there again, or do you want a soft reset where Pikachu can regain it's level after the battle?

Since it is a choose mon event, you can reference the Daisy event in the example maps, as it lets you choose a mon and does stuff to that mon.
Then you can set the level to 5 with pkmn.level = 5
