4th Gen Event Regigigas?

Apparently, you can get the three legendary golems in Platinum if you have an "event Regigigas." I'm not sure what they're referring to specifically, but I remember getting a Regigigas from a Toys R Us promotional event just before Platinum came out. If I trade that to my Platinum cartridge, can I catch the legendary golems in it?

You have to send the Regigigas you got from the Toys R' Us event or the Japanese 11th Pokemon movie event from Diamond or Pearl to Platinum and then you can catch the Regis in special caves.
