Event that prevents player from leaving town

    I'm brazilian(so sorry about my english), a few weeks i decided start my own pokemon game, i saw some videos, download the necessary files and starded making my game, but i very bad with scripts and switches, then i started having issues early on my game.I make the first city, but I want to make a condition prohibiting the player leave the town without a pokemon, i tried everything, except the right way, so i want help for make this switch.
    Again, sorry about my english.

    If this thread is against the rules please tell me.

Still going to tell you just 2 things search before asking the question I know you are knew so you don't have to worry about making mistakes. 2. And this is is just like a nitpick of me but next time try to use a more appropriate title. There is a lot of questions that you could get answer by searching. If you need any help you can pm me I will try to help you if you are unsure of anything. Good luck in your game and hope I helped and gave nice advice.
     
    Having descriptive titles is part of the section rules, please try and give more information in the title next time (I fixed this one for you)
