Have you ever went to an event? I went to an event luckily 20 minutes away from me where they were giving out Mews! I got a mew in Firered and Sapphire, and it gave me the national dex in sapphire! XD

Nope because Nintendo doesn't like Australia and seems to ignore us except for like 2 which I didn't go to because there was no notice at all...

No, I don't go to events. They're all too far away (New York City and the like) and I really don't think it's that important to just get one pokemon, legendary or not.

But I wouldn't mind going to one for the experience!

I was told that I had to pay for event pokemon from the manager at gamestop.
I went outside the store and secretly looked for mystery gift.
Haha, I got my deoxys for all 3 of my game carts.​

I went to Gamestop when they were giving away shiny Zigzagoons, you also got a Berry fertilizer mod so berries grew faster (-_- zzzzzzzzzz)

I went to one. Specifically it was the grand opening of Nintendo World in NYC. I got me two Mystic Tickets- one on Emerald, and another on Leaf Green. Now I have three sets of Lugia and Ho-oh. ;3

No way, i'm not interested in getting legendaries. Even if I did go i'd probably just end up trading it or it would just collect dust in my box.

There are never any in my area, but I have collected a lot of events legitimately. Like CHANNEL Jirachi. I bought CHANNEL just for it. And I got Manaphy from Ranger. I sent away for Deoxys and Mew though :P

What really bugs me is when Japan or the US gets Darkrai three or four times when it has yet to be released in the UK and Austrailia

My answer is no. Major conventions only exist in America, unfortunately.
