6th Gen Exp. Share and other item Mechanics changes speculation and discussion

Maybe they'll have Rookie, Semi-Veteran, and Veteran levels. Those who aren't beginner or want a challenge could have something like you mentioned.

It wasn't enough for having hard rivals, yes. I really liked how Gary was in FRLG, but they seemed to simply bring the difficulty down after BW adding to new Exp Mechanics and Audino grinding. They're making it too easy, so I don't see why they don't introduce a tier of levels rather than just a vague 'Hard mode'. Most RPG games seem to be content with the feature as well.
 
Didn't have a problem with the Egg hatching system; take ten minutes out of your adventuring to bike back and forth and then hatch them! If anything, they should add an app to the PokeNav that allows the player to see stats on how close the egg is to hatching, and maybe an actual image of the egg with cracks depending on how long you've had it for, of course.

I'm hoping they'll do that.

Also they should have a little hint of what the egg will hatch to be in it's design similar to the eggs in the anime. At least one different looking egg for every egg group(s).
