Intro
I have used this team with success on Shoddy Battle, attaining a rating of 1584 respectively with my alt account, 3 weeks ago. This post basically retires the team due to its predictability on the ladder. Since the initial intention was to surprise people, it would be better to make an entirely new team.

Tyranitar (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Ice Beam
- Superpower
- Dark Pulse
- Flamethrower
The lead and pride of the team. Desinged for those lead Azelfs, getting the advantage early by killing the set up pokemon and keep the sash for a come back. A common scenario, Dark pulse kills the Azelf that Stealth Rocked, opponent sends in scizor which thinks it is a boah thus slower, and gets flamethrowered, while ttar is still healthy and with the sash. Ice beam is mainly for Gliscor and Hippowdon, as well as Zapdos or a Salamence that will hit the sash. Superpower KOs other ttars and hits blissey and heatran hard. Starting sandstorm (being immune to it on par with sash) as well as unpredictability is the main reason I am using this set, giving me the early advantage on most battles.
Originally I had Crunch over Dark Pulse and Attack Evs over Special Attack Evs, but I swapped to a special set to be a threat to Hippowdon with Ice beam. Still the Dark pulse Flinch rate is really handy with the speed, which makes sure it outspeeds max spedd adamant scizors, defensive gliscors, defensive rotoms and 240 speed Celebi/Zapdos.

Bronzong @ Occa Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/88 Atk/168 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion
Occa berry is easily of the best item I used on a succesful Bronzong. This is my initial switch to Metagross, Blissey, Jirachi and other Bronzongs. The opponent switches in a fire attacking pokemon (Infernape,Heatran, Salamence, Zapdos, etc..) usually when I set up my SR. I then take the fire move having around 60% left after occa berry activates, and then kill with EQ or simply exlode. I could use Heatproof and Leftovers though I much prefer to use it as a DD ttar counter, or switch it into locked Heatran Earth powers. Serves as my weavile and Mamoswine counter.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/100 Spd/88 SAtk/68 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Recover
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Fire]
This thing has swept many times despite its defensive set up. My switch in Suicune and Swampert, it scares them off and hits the predictable Infernape or Scizor with the right move to KO. The sp def Evs lets it take a Shadow Ball from Gengar and KO back, no one expects Psychic from this little annoyance. The speed Evs let it outspeed Mamoswine, so it cant kill with Ice fang, most dont expect fast Celebies. Also, the speed usually lets it outspeed Salamences, Zapdos' with the unexpected Psychic on their switch in(factoring SR damage) and kill if not heavily sp def oriented. Also outspeeds Adamant Lucario.

Heatran (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Spd/252 SAtk/4 SDef
Modest nature (+SpA, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Substitute
- Will-o-wisp
I originally had scarftran here, as well as Explosion with naive. Then I changed to a sub explosion set, and last I changed will o wisp over explosion. The main reason is that I dont want to forcefully blow up my Heatran for that Gyarados or Salamence, I will gladly catch them with a Burn and end their threat. Also, Rhyperior is now less threatening and if I get a Sub on another choice scarf Heatran this becomes an invaluable sweeping monster with its type coverage.

Rotom-w @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Trick
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Hydro Pump
Rotom-w is my revenge killer, and Hydro pump is an amazing weapon in its arsenal to hit Scarf Heatran and Infernape mostly. Trick can be used on Blissey,Snorlax or another wall pokemon that sets up lategame to force it into submission. Works really well with Heatran. Sadly, no sandstorm immunity and constant switching in Stealth Rocks make me wish some times I had a rest talk variant of it. The best part of this Rotom-w is that most expect the Scarfers to be Modest, and I get a lot of kills on +1DD Gyarados.
![[PokeCommunity.com] ..::Expect The Unexpected::.. // Retired // [PokeCommunity.com] ..::Expect The Unexpected::.. // Retired //](https://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/flygon.png)
Flygon (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 SDef
Adament nature (+Atk, -SpA)
- Fire Punch
- Roost
- Outrage
- Earthquake
Last but not least Flygon. This is usually my last pokemon 80% of the time, and with its great coverage I end up finishing up my opponents team. STAB EQ and Outrage from a 426 attack is nothing to look down on(More powerful than Max attack Metagross meteor mash). The stealth rocks resist makes sure I will be near max health when it first switches in and roost away if needed as well. Sandstorm immunity helps it stay around longer against the likes of heatwave/thunder wave/thunderbolt/roost Zapdos. Also serves as my back up choice scarf Heatran counter if my Heatran and Rotom-w die.
Threat List
Coming Soon.
So that's ..::Expect The Unexpected::.. This is by far my favorite team and it's quite fun to play with. Obviously I'm quite proud of this team.
Thank you for reading!
