Explanation, Rules, and Registration (MUST READ)

TenSquared, please read the rules first. No legendary Pokemon are allowed. You'll have to switch Azelf for something else.

I'm quite sure this wasn't mentioned in any of the rules, so is it okay if I ask this question here?
Well:
Do I have to sign up here before I sign-up to be a gym trainer? Also, I personally don't have a wireless router for Wifi, however my friend that lives a few minutes away has one and he has already told me I could go to his house if I ever needed to.
 
Here of course its going to be a while before all this bosh is ready, so can I change my pokemon at anytime?
 
Okay, because we have like... one gym right now, thinks aren't going to be moving very quickly for the first week or so, as you can imagine.

To be a Gym Trainer, you don't have to sign up here as well, although if you have any intention of challenging the Gyms later on, you can register here with a totally different team.

craiglaw, I don't think I've placed your name on the official registrant list yet, so you are still free to change your team. ^^;

no srly i have a really important question

rotom is considered to be a legendary pokemon in diamond.... soooooooo

is it banned too? or is allowed in the league?

two of my pokemon still arent ready, and from what i read the 1st gym only uses 50?

but all mine are 75..... soooo please let me know if thats a problem.

yeah i just relized that when i really looked through sum of the threads...

the wifi room make works like the battle tower in the sense it puts all pokemon to level 50 or level 100

ok then well.... yeah even the challangers AIM me or PM me i dont care

i need to warm up a bit and see how the rest of the world is

I know I gots lotsa ice types XD, almost all my pokemon have ice moves XD, just to those who I know are gonna message me saying I have a huge weakness XD However, being an avid fan of the anime, I have moves to combat my weaknesses =P Nothing like seeing Froslass beat Charizard XD (Got the idea from the gym leaders in the anime =D)
 
I just have a question... why is double team banned...? I can understand luck factor for the OHKO moves in that some people consider them as cheap because it's just using the same skill and hope for the best, but double team...? It's just as valid as any other buffs like swords dance or dragon dance (or in fact, probably weaker than those two)... takes awhile for it to be truly difficult to bypass, and there's always haze anyway to use. It takes quite a bit for double team to build up to be truly threatening... and during those times, shouldn't the challenger/gym leaders be strong enough to take down and break the baton pass DT chain by then?

Evasion moves can cause battles to go on forever, I once fought against a gardevoir that used double team for 2 hours before we both ran out of moves and started struggling :/

On that note, why is only double team banned, shouldn't all evasion boosting ones be banned? (Sorry, just curious =P)

How a Gardevoir can live beyond 2 double team is already questionable... how it got up to full 6 double team, is even more of a mystery.
