The arena always handed my butt to me... Whisper did NOTHING!The best thing in the world: Character save riiight before you finish the arena in original Fable. You get to keep the experience and the gold. Play the arena billions of times, getting bigger and better every time, and experiencing the fun of the arena. Plus, if you don't manage to make your summon turn into a White Balverine at first chance, you can keep trying.
Fable 2 has all those lawless town that you just whipe clean a few times for fun, but yes. No matter how hard I tried, I was always evil, and alway a huge guy in plate with that dragon sword. Heavy weapons, win!hmmmm, I always found the arena the easiest part,but by that time my random killing sprees in towns had gotten me pretty much maxed out on everything.
Ahhh, raiding Oakvale.... good times... I never sumoned the white Balverine though.The arena has never handed my butt to me. I always hand its butt to it. With at least 50% of my armor being plate, the best sword I can afford after killing all of Oakvale, buying the houses and shops, and then making people pay rent to live in them, and a white balverine summon, I don't need Whisper.
Theres a fool in Bowerstone that will buy your dimonds for more than he will sell you his. Can you say, easy money?yep, I actually didn't always go on killing sprees for my money, sometimes i'd just assasinate the Oakvale general store owner, buy the shop, then use the steal expression to make clones of diamonds which I then sold to him... then I would use my high guile to buy all the 250 perfumes at a low low price, then sell them all back for more then I bought them. Rinse and repeat until i'm rich and hes poor, or until 6 hours of doing this and 3 billion gold convinces me he will never run out of money.
Sometimes i'd go on hitting sprees, instead of killing people i'd hit them with my guys fist, then if the guards came over to arrest me i'd use the apologize expression, clears all fines but murder and aggravated assault.
Hahaha, wtf? To each his own (money making sceam anyways :P )Its actually a glitch... If your guile is high enough and you don't sell/buy things one at a time you can make easy money off anything!!!!(When i'm a really low level sometimes I do it with beer instead of diamonds)
