So . . . bought myself an external HD today, as my internal was just about chocka with pr0nz movies, discarded novel ideas and so on. The new thing is sleek, shiny, and 1 whole terabyte (though it only lets me use 931 gigs for some reason)

The problem is that I now cannot open any of my Word documents. D: Desperately, I am now falling back on Office 2007 in the hopes that it will work for me.

Agh, come on! You have no idea how pissed I will be if this doesn't work!

Then again, it may be the push I need to get me to transfer fully to OpenOffice. Next thing you know, I'll be running Linux. D:

OH GOD EVEN 2007 HAS DESERTED ME

And Windows keeps telling me my Desktop has moved or something, even though I never touched it.

*desperately tries to open his fanfiction on Word* Last shot, or I'm moving to friggin' OpenOffice, I swear.

Nope, no friggin' luck. Writer it is.

Oh, hell, Windows Explorer is being a ***** and won't let me choose where to save stuff. I'm gonna use my oldest, crappiest fanfic as a sacrifice in case this doesn't work.

all I had to do, it seems, was restore a few thingies from the recycle bin. Need to be more selective with my deleting from now on, it would seem. ^_^;;;

For some reason all storage stuff it can 'hold' a certain amount, but there's a certain amount that's got...Something on there.
