Extremely late

For the sake of the story let's say that you are walking down a street; it's one of those poorly maintained cobblestone ones; the kind that was installed solely because someone thought that it would add a "rustic charm", and so there you go minding your own business; when a dark void opens up, and a young man dressed in an oversized black suit and pants was swiftly shunted out; he gets up, and dusts himself; his hair is black and long, and he turns and says "Well that was interesting".
You simply stare at the scene in disbelief; the dark void closed, and the young man turns to face you, and he said "Hi"; you have a cordial enough conversation with him; he reveals some harmless sounding secrets; you reveal nothing about yourself, and finally he asks you "What year is it?", and of course; you truthfully reply "March 9 2016"; this little morsel of information seems to have quite an effect on the man, and he said "Not 2010?"; you shake your head, and he runs off; while mumbling the words "I'm late!".

That was my excuse for my extremely late introduction; please don't ban me now that I'm back; that was also my way of telling you that I write; well not necessarily well, but I try my hardest, and this is already boring you isn't it?
