Fairy Big Basic

I decided to throw together a fun deck of big basics. This is the first deck that is focused heavily on Exs (aside from Keldeo/Blastoise). The idea is to get tons of energy on the field. Move it around and murder things with tons of big basics.

This deck has free retreat, energy manipulation, no status effects, rush in, and bench protection. It has 2 forms of energy acceleration in both Victini and Xerneas. It also covers tons of weaknesses with all the varying types.

I have a bunch of just tossed in cards like Exp share, an extra super rod, and probably 1 of the Max Potions. Not sure what to change them to atm. Though i think i need 1 more Fairy Garden, another tool scrapper, and maybe a Yevital Ex to cover darkness weakness.

My first impression is "holy crap this deck must be fast". I might need a day or two to research the cards in it before giving any suggestions.

Actually, wait. Swap Energy Search for Professor's Letter. That's something I think would improve it right away.

See the problem with that is this deck likes having energy in the deck. Both Victini and Xerneas pull energy from the deck and slap it on the pokemon. So professors letter would remove 1 more of the 6 energy in the deck, making the attacks less effective. Either way now that i think about it that is a dumb card since this deck lacks Skyla, so i wouldnt be able to skyla for the energy search and it might as well be an energy.

I really dont know what this deck needs. I might just add more energy or something. There are so many extra random thrown in cards.

Since it's Fairies, why not try more Fairy Garden? Probably not the best idea but not a terrible idea, either! And maybe drop the Juniper count to reduce the risk of discarding your energy and run one more Super Rod to also act as a safeguard against that problem.

It doesn't sit right with me how many single copies of Pokemon you have. It kind of gives it that feel of a deck built almost entirely out of techs and counters.

It is basically built out of techs. So it can deal with tons of different decks. The fact that energy moves around freely means i can use pretty much any attacker whenever it gets played after i get set up. Thats the whole plan with Big Basics decks. They just tech for everything and use stuff like mewtwo to fight everything else.

1 ofs isnt so bad since i have town map and i can grab what i need after a knock out.

-Victini can 1HKOs VirGen Decks.
-Terrakion 1HKOs Darkrai
-Keldeo 1HKOs Fire types
-Tropius 1HKOs Keldeo with 4 energy, but more importantly lets me draw up to 6 cards when i dont have a supporter.
-Virizion protects against status effects more effectively than Slurpuff
-Mr Mime for bench protection

The main attacker is Mewtwo.

How about a DCE or two? That'd make it easier to power up Tropius and Mewtwo.

Mewtwo maybe, tropius no. It only needs 1 Grass and 1 colorless to attack.

If anything i would add rainbow energy over DCE.

After looking again, I'd say drop both Exp. Share in favor of a pair of Rainbow Energy.
