Fake 1st edition symbol?

hi.i have 2 1st edition pokemon cards with 2 different 1st edition symbol
which one is is fake?

Neither. The one in the back is just heavier printed. Not really sure what was up with those, but I have quite a few (faded, bolder symbols and stuff).

I concur. I don't know what was wrong early on, but there were a ton of printing errors in the first and second sets, and a few more still in the third.

I suppose it had to do with being a new card game and maybe the printing method was experimented with or whatnot.

Base Set Has NO Symbol, but on old cards the symbol was located next to the height and weight.

We're not talking about the Set symbol. We're talking about the first edition symbol, here, which is on the other side of this information from the set symbol. ;)
