Fan Game or Rom Hack I've been looking for

    Pretty much, there's this old fan game/rom hack I'm trying to find. The premise was, as far as I recall, you get stranded on an island and have to survive by yourself while catching pokemon. It had a building mechanic, and you could steal pokemon eggs from their nests, but that would lead to possible fights with the angry parents. Does anyone remember what this game was? The graphics seemed to be around the time of Gen 1 or 2
