[Kashima DAC]

Hey, there, I'm called Kashima, I'm a big fan of Pokémon, especially Gen 1 and the first anime through Master Quest (but I'm not a Genwhunner!) and I love Pokémon Live!, which for those who don't know, was a live-action stage show that toured through late '99-early 2000.

I'm not used to a lot of the new generations, especially X and Y, and I love all Pokémon equally. There isn't a Pokémon I hate. I'd really like to ask if there's anyone who would take the time to teach me about this new generation and anything else I've missed, but if you're too busy, it's okay.

I'm also a fanfiction author and I've published one story on Fanfiction.Net called MOTHER IV, a crossover between Earthbound and Pokémon with references to other Nintendo and a Japanese TV series called Ultraman. Feel free to check it out, the prologue was posted in February.

I'm also looking for people like me, PokéManiacs that can talk non-stop about Pokémon all day, so I can add them on Facebook. So if you want to add me, send me a message and I'll send you my info. I also have a like page, and I appreciate any support I get on it via likes or shares.

I know Poké Community is a great forum and that I'll enjoy my membership here. I hope I make a lot of friends. :3

Ah, and welcome to the forums, Kashima! Really pleased to meet you - you can call me Dragon, or Shawn, if you want! Anywho, I definitely love Earthbound, and I've heard loads of good things about Ultraman, so, I'll love to check it out sometime! Mmm, and what sorts of things about the new generation would you like to know? You can probably ask for some answers to questions about Pokemon X and Pokemon Y over on the Pokemon X and Pokemon Y section! Otherwise, it's basically like all of the other pokemon games, except for a few new features, for example, there's MegaEvolutions if you're familiar with that. Only some pokemon megaevolve! There are also really great things in the X&Y games like Trainer Customizations, and if you want to trade, all you need is another player's FC, and you'll be able to trade on the spot with them, anytime! There are loads more, so, if you'd like to ask more about it, I can help out, or anyone else willing to help! :3

Otherwise, yeah, there are some really cool pokemon fans in here, and I hope that you will meet the lot of them! In fact, you definitely will as you get active! I saw the first part of the title and I had to come running! I love seeing new writers (well, new to us at least) join up. I mod the Fan Fiction & Writing section here and I would love to see you post your work. Maybe even read and comment/review on some works already posted there. I know we would love to see a new face join us in there.
