All constructive critisism accepted, but please no insulting or unnessessary comments please.

    loooooooooooooooooooooooooool

    11 Magikarp

You're only allowed 4 of any named card in your deck.

Also, how would you be discarding the Magikarps in the first place? Getting them KOed is a bad way of getting them discarded IMO. From what I can tell, that's the only way to discard your own 'Karp

    Oh yeah, I forgot that.

If you leave cards on your bench for one turn you are then allowed to discard them if you wish. But I forgot about the four of any one type of card in your deck (aside from Arceus).

That's not right, you don't may discard a pokemon on your bench if you wish. Only if a card say that it may (like a trainer, power, ..)

This is not legal. Like Spatsman said, you can only discard if a card tells you to do so. FurretFTW!!1!, Spatsman, and myself have all played competitively before in the past year, with FurretFTW!!1! and Spatsman probably playing regularly. If my memory serves, this move was never legal. I have read the original rulebooks enough to know that this wasn't a legal move when the TCG came Stateside.

It's never been legal state-side or in any official tournaments that I've known of.

It sounds like a player-made rule for casual games. It's definitely not something allowed at competitive games.

That's even an incorrect version of the fossil rule. If that were true, everyone would be using 4 Mesprit and 4 Pokemon rescues, and Claydol would be a bad card because of the power lock. And SPs would be awful. I'd hate that rule IRL. XP

Oh right. Thanks for the help and info guys. That is really useful for constructing my deck better. I'll post a new deck soon. Not too much changed but a few bits that I have to think about.
