Fastrack to Glory

One lazy Sunday afternoon at around 3:00pm, I was feeling bored. I was a bit nostalgic at the time so I decided to download Pokemon Yellow for my VBA and re-acquaint myself with Gen 1.

I was having so much fun with it, I couldn't stop. Before I knew it, I beat Gary and was crowned League Champion. When I checked the clock, I was surprised to find that it was only 8:00 pm. It took me 5 hours to beat a main series Pokemon game (with a full team of 6 Pokemon at level 60 each).

My question is this; What was your fastest time in beating a main series Pokemon game, and what game was it?

 

[Hiatus]

Fastest would have to be Blue, which took me only about five to six days to complete. I used to play Pokémon religiously back then, so it wasn't such a huge surprise. XD; Second would be Pokémon Y, which took approximately a week. As for third, that's gotta be Emerald.

My fastest was a solo run of White with Sebastian the Stoutland.

It was also the most tedious game of pokemon I've played, so it was sort of a blessing that it was over so fast.

IIRC, it was 11 hours total, including doing the post-E4 routes so I could go back and re-challenge the E4 and beat Alder.

Hm, not sure. I beat Pokemon X about 11 hours after the game was released to the public around here. I an beat the game pretty fast, I'd say I recently beat Pokemon Gold in about 10 hours (counting all 16 gyms and Red) play time. I'll probably try to beat it at even a faster rate in the future.

X was definitely my fastest completion of the main story. I finished it two days after getting the game, but that's because I enjoyed the game so much.

Second shortest was Black, which took me 13 days to finish the main story.

I progressed extremely fast in Pokemon Y, and after the first weekend with the game I had already reached the final gym. I ended up finishing it in four days. The second fastest might've been Pokemon Emerald, which I played religiously for a week. I think the last day, I put off sleep until 3 am to defeat the elite four. :]

I beat Pokemon FireRed in about 16 hours, and that was a Ninetales solo run. Probably the fastest I've ever finished the main story of a Pokemon game. Most of it was spent in Silph Co., though. Damn teleporters.
