Normal: Fearow The Drill-Pecking Derpbird-evo. Incredibly fun to use.
Fire: Houndoom Not sure here, I had no real idea.
Water: Magikarp Got its throne stolen by Jumpluff, but it's still ranking high
Electric: Lanturn While ranking at maybe 7th or 8th in Water, Lanturn is my favorite Electric type.
Grass: Jumpluff No, really
Ice: Dewgong Actually I just had no idea what to say here. I chose Dewgong for the Seel puns its line contains.
Fighting: Poliwrath Once again, I had no idea.
Poison: Beedrill What's not awesome about a giant bee with spears as arms?
Ground: Nidoking Long ago by far my favorite of all Pokemon, Nidoking has been reduced to a mere category leader with time.
Flying: Jumpluff So many of my closer favorites are part Flying, it's not even funny
Psychic: Slowpoke Slow.................................poke?
Bug: Beedrill See Poison.
Rock: Tyranitar Just because it's so awesome.
Ghost: Haunter Just look at it.
Dragon: Flygon The only of them I actually like.
Dark: Tyranitar As said above, it's awesome.

A bit lacking in generation 5 Pokemon, I just haven't memorized most of them that good yet.
