So... what are your favorite cover songs?

Here's a few from my list:

"All Along The Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix (originally performed by Bob Dylan)
"Hurt" by Johnny Cash (originally performed by NIN)
"Unchained Melody" by U2 (originally performed by Righteous Brothers)

Didn't Green Day do a cover version of "I fought the law"?
I swear they did, and it was one of my favourites.

I like The Ataris' version of "The Boys Of Summer", the Don Henley song. I'm sorry, it's mainstream, but I like it anyway. XD I also like the Bowling for Soup cover of Bryan Adams' "Summer of 69".

My favourite cover, however, was done by my favourite band: a cover of the Gin Blossoms song "Hey Jealousy", by Kisschasy.

Yep, Green Day did. It's one of my favorite covers too.

I also like the cover they did for Eye of the Tiger, because Billie was absolutely drunk. It's hysterical. XD

I like Green Day's cover of the Imperial March, as well as Metallica's.

Oh! And speaking of Metallica, by far if not one of my favorite cover songs one of my favorite songs is Turn the Page (Originally done by Bob Seger I believe)

    Um... I like
"Hurt" by Johnny Cash (Orig. NIN)
"Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Fall Out Boy (Orig. Joy Division) ^^

Oh, of course! "Everywhere" by Michelle Branch, covered by Yellowcard on the "Punk Goes Pop" compilation.

Sheryl Crow's cover of Stewart's "The First Cut is the Deepest" is really awesome. Big fan of Sheryl Crow.

And while I'm not much of a Metallica fan anymore, their cover of "Turn the Page" was nicely done, as well.

Oh, duh. Can't forget "Cat Scratch Fever" covered by Pantera. heh.

I really liked Miyavi's cover of by Dir en grey (because they're two of my favorite bands.)

And also The Postal Service's cover of Against All Odds, which I think was originally my Phil Collins, but I'm not sure.
