Jasmine. I like how her personality (in the game and not the anime) clashes with her gigantic Steelix.
I like any character where her weapon/Pokemon/attack juxtoposes with her personality.

Although I have to admit, Whitney plays a close second, and Claire is quite good as well. I like Steel types so I kind of like Jasmine as well and Falkner is pretty good apperance-wise too, but their teams suck pretty bad...-_-

And I have to say that I agree with Arty about Juan too. I mean come on, what could be more pathetic than an aging playboy? -_-

BTW, Clair's German name is Sandra, but in the anime, she's still called Clair. >>;;;;
