Articuno-High defenses, high enough to resist a rock slide which it has a 4x weakness to

Zapdos-High Speed and Special Attack, but bad movepool

Moltres-High Sp. Atk and Attack, doesn't know how to peck even though there's a big-o beak right there o.O, low defenses make it easy to get OHKO by Rock and Water

Blastoise is better against the the elite 4 since he can use water against bruno and if you use the TM ice beam or blizzard he is awesome against Lance's Dragon.
 
articuno has ICE BEAM! its awsome even tho it was being used against me... because i couldn`t get a ice pokemon (and i killed articuno...:( ) and He IT also looks soooooo awsome! and zapdos and moltres`s beaks are long!
 
wel I like Articuno and Moltres.THEY ROCK!=D

I like Zapdos too,But I like them better.

Well For Articuno,Mind reader and Sheer Cold works good,And Moltres can do a lot of damge with Sunny Day and then HP grass and heat wave.
 
Articuno is probably the best,at least in my opinion.
 
Artricuno is my favorite pokemon. Back in the days of RBY, it was realy nice because of it's ice type. However, it has a bad type combonation. It has higher Def & Sp.D than Atk & Sp.A, but it has quite a few weaknesses, and not so many resistances. It's main claim to fame now is it's ability to score a 100% chance 1HKO with Mind Reader and Sheer cold. Something no other pokemon can do in two turns. It's my favorite of the Legendairy Birds for some unknown reason. I liked it since GSC.
 
Well Articuno can deal a lot of Damge with Mind Reader and Sheer cold,a Instant-Death-Attack.XD
Zapdos,I don't like how it looks so much in FR/LG,I like it in Emerald.
Beak is too long.:dead:
but besides that,I still like it.T-bolt+Drill Peck=death.XD
and Moltres,Like I said,Can do wonders with sunny day then Hidden Power Grass then Heat wave.

So I like The Brids in this order:

1:Moltres/Articuno(Tied)
2:Zapdos
 
All the legendairy birds are powerfull. That is why they are called "legendairy".

Zapdos has few weaknesses, and excelent sweeping ability.

Articuno was ment to be a tank, but has a bad type combo.

Moltres is the most unpredictable of the three, and has sweeper potential as well.

I personaly don't use legendairys, because most of them are "Oober" in my oppinion. Most any legendairy can overshadow other pokemon, so I don't use them out-of-game.

so i was saying the fact that instead of articuno, blastoise is better.
 
Just about any semi-high level pokemon that knows an ice type attack is good aganst lance's dragons. Articuno is just caught at a high level, so for Charizard and Venasaur users, it works well vs. lance's pokemon. I used my blastoice against lance too.

Zapdos is okay,But like I said,to long of a beak.
Moltres is Cute in FR/LG,And is kinda like Articuno for some reason.oO;;;
 
Moltress looks better than the other legendairy birds, no contest. Still, though, I'd say articuno is my favorite for some reason.

Well Articuno helps in the Lance battle,Moltres with the Bruno Battle if it knows wing Attack or HP Psychic,and Zapdos with Lorei and your Rival.
 
I beat the elite four with these pokemon:

Blastiose
Zapdos

Zapdos took out the water/flying pokemon. Blastoise was super effective vs. most of the others with Ice Beam, Surf, and Bite.

Moltres was what I had planned to beat bruno with, but I didn't take the time to catch it first. I just used Zapdos/Blastoise.

The only pokemon I couldn't score a super effective hit on was Arbok.
 
articuno was the only one that i ever allowed onto one of my teams back in the day of redblue. now i don't use legendaries or starters... ever. so i have to go with articuno because i did use it at one point.
 
It seems everyone is choosing based on how well the birds fare against the Elite Four. Does it matter how well they do in the E4? They're just another 5 trainers idiotic in-game trainers in your way. Anyone who used the VS Seeker a lot would've had no problem with the E4.
 
*MCD goes to the voting polls* lalalalala.... I vote Articuno. Why? Er... because I say so :P Plus it has the best defenses out of all of them, and can actually withstand a Flamethrower without dying. That's good isn't it? XD
