My favourite mega evolution is mega Charizard X, a dragon/fire type that resist water. I like this change.

I gotta say i love mega charizard x. but that is mostly nostalgia since charizard has always been my favorite pokemon

Mega Gengar is so badass! Also that Shadow Tag ability gives him a lot of strategies to play with. And of course, mega charizard x minus the fire coming out of his mouth. ^_^
I am not really into completive battles and I honestly forget mega evolution is a thing most of the time.
But I do for some reason like Mega Swampert. I Think it looks like it has been hitting the roids and does destroy pretty much any in game opponent. Teach it Ice Punch from the ORAS Move tutor and it is pretty much unstoppable in game.
