2nd Gen Favorite Music in G/S/C?

    I've never really like the other music in the Advance/Gem generation, and the Color generation was too basic and simple. Anyway, my favorite music in G/S/C would have to be the Kanto Gym Leader battle, it sounds awesome:D

    To tell the truth I have to say Jhotos music is better. =]

    Jōto's music was made of win; the Gyarados Lake (later called Nanashima and used as the theme of the region of the same name in Fr/Lg), National Park and Littleroot Town themes being my favourites.
     
    I'm going to have to say that my favorite music in G/S/C is the Team Rocket music.
    It just really appeals to me, and it has a nice beat
     
    I'm another fan of the Team Rocket theme, specially of the Radio Tower Takeover one.
    Other songs I also like, Silver's battle theme, and, in Crystal, Eusine's theme.

    I also liked the Goldenrod Town theme, as well as Ecruteak Town's.
     
    My favourite song in G/S/C was that on Route 27, leading to the Pokémon League. It totally summed up the mood, and is still one of my faves today!
     
    The Team Rocket music is sweet, but I love the E4 battle music. It's so intense, it totally pumps you up!

    The crystal suicune battle theme is just beautiful.

    I love the kanto music remakes too, it's a different atmosphere, seems like kanto is really like another country.
     
    That's a very hard decision to make as there is a lot of good music throughout the games. But yeah, there's a lot of stuff from the OST that I like: National Park, Welcome to the World of Pokemon, the Battle themes and all that stuff. This game has a lot of great music packed into a small GBA cartridge.
     
    Its got to be the Champion/Red battle tune for me, its so dramatic, way better than later gen Champs.

    The Gym Leader Battle Theme has ALWAYS! been my favourite theme in every single Pokémon game. It's so awsome. So thats mine.
     
    I voted for the Johto region in this poll even if I'm too late to vote in it. The Kanto region used the same songs for just about every city (like Saffron City and many others). The same thing goes for the routes in between towns. The only good music from Kanto was the Champion Battle Theme and the Kanto Gym Leader fight.

    As for Johto, plenty of songs come to mind. I love the Team Rocket theme because it goes well when you fight them. The Dark Cave/Ice Path, Burned Tower, Suicune fight in Crystal, and the National Park theme were a few others that were very memorable.
     
    The R/B/Y music has more of an old-timey video game feel, but S/G/C is just better. Besides, S/G/C holds more memories. I also liked the variety in the songs, as in they sounded pretty different, at least to me. And I really like the song in S/G/C when you're battling Lance.
