Yes im doing a poll on this. Out of the 3 which one is your favorite? I find the thousand year door my favorite. I mean sure Paper Mario was excellent but hell thousand year door stands out the most for me and SPM is well a bit ruined.

As much as I love the new features in Thousand Year Door (partner health, etc.), Vivian, and Doopliss, I'd have to go with the original. A lot of Thousand Year Door seemed like a poor copy of the original. It was the fifth chapter and you went to an island, again. And I just didn't like the style for Super Paper Mario too much, as good of a game as it was. Castle Bleck was amazing, though.

I've played through the original Paper Mario about five times now, played through Thousand Year Door twice, and done Super Paper Mario once. The first and last, I want to play again now.

I found TTYD to be the best. Haven't touched the first one, and I didn't like the 3rd one.

SPM really didn't leave a good impression me. It wasn't a true RPG like the first two, and what's the deal with the battle system anyways? Took me forever to get used to that, and it was way too different from the first two.

I'd say Thousand Year Door was my favorite overall. 64 was good as well.

I can't argue over whether SPM is any good since I've yet to play it, but out of TTYD and the original Paper Mario, I would have to say the original is my favourite. The sequel did everything right in terms of gameplay and plus originality points for the story, but I just found the first more at home with the whole Mario universe. It might be nostalgia talking but after SMRPG, Paper Mario just takes the cake for Mario RPGs.

Paper Mario was the best. I mean, it felt like you got an idea of what the Mushroom Kingdom would be like during its day to day runnings imstead fo the 30+ catastrophes we've seen. Not only that, but the characters are very memorable. TYD was good too though.

I think the original will always be the best.

The original. I mean, you can travel the Mushroom Kingdom by foot and go through eight impressive worlds, all of which I thought were different in terms of look and design. Also, it has some of my favorite bosses from any Mario game, so that's a plus.

Speaking of which, I haven't played the game since Brawl's release. :(
