Favorite Pokémon Movie ?

My top five would have to be:
1) The Power of One
2) Heroes
3) The mystery of the unknown
4) Pokemon ranger and the temple of the sea
5) 4Ever

I love Buena Vista's random names for movie 4 and 5 "4ever, heroes" How randoms is that and they have nothing to do with the movies XD
 
Mewtwo strikes back for a few reasons.
The nostalgia of going to watch it in the cinema as a 5 year old.
The fact that the Pikachu short before it saw Charizard get it's head stuck in a pipe (or something), which was epic.
I found the soundtrack to it the other day xD
It's the only movie I've ever deliberately tried to watch, I've only seen the others on TV by chance, then sat and watched the whole thing xD
 
Pokemon the movie 2000 is my favorite.
 
Just a heads up, I merged a "favourite movie" thread from Pokemon General with the one in the Anime forum. PG is the wrong place but that thread was newer to it's the base. Just mentioning it in case either OP is confused.

That said, my favourite movie so far is either the second or the 10th because it has Cherrim eleventh.
 
Okay, counting up what everyone said as they're favourite (including if they said more then one) the list is, so far...

1. The Power of One
2. The First Movie
3. Ranger and the Temple of the Sea
4. Rise of Darkrai
5. Jirachi Wish Maker
6. Giratina and the Sky Warrior/Lucario and the Mystery of Mew/Destiny Deoxys/Heroes

Everything else doesn't have a vote.
 
I like 2000 the best, because of Melody, Pokeshippy scenes and of course cool battle between 4 legendary birds. And story.
Lucario was the most boring, fatal storyline, nothing interesting.
 
Heroes, absolutely. Latias and Latios combined are just a heartwarming combo, and I was honestly touched.

Conversely, Pokemon: The First Movie was completely mind-boggling for me.
 
akk dont make me choose xDD I loved the 1st movie, the 2nd movie was beyond awesome, the 3rd movie (JOHTO OPENING FTW!), the 4th movie (OMG MORE JOHTO!), the 5th movie, well the 5th one is at the top of my list. (mainly cause of the soundtracks)

Destiny Deoxys comes in 2nd place, that movie was intense. The best part about pokemon movies is the remixes of their rightful season openings. Then they stopped that when the 6th movie came out :[

That was the only opening that I really wanted the remix for.
 
My favorite is definitely the first movie!

I remember I would always get so hyper when the song 'Brother My Brother' comes on. And don't forget that Mewtwo is the best legendary pokémon ever. =D... I don't know if he's the strongest anymore, though. So many new pokémon have appeared that you don't even know which one is the strongest anymore.

Anyway, I will always see Mewtwo as the strongest pokémon!
 
Lucario and the Mystery of Mew was my favorite... Lucario was just so awesome.

Definately Pokemon 2000! After that, Mewtwo Strikes Back. I was 7-8 when I went to watch it in theaters. <33
 
Favourite is the second one, no idea why, I just prefer it.

I haven't watched them all, but I saw giratina and the sky warrior the other day, and if that's the current standard then I won't bother watching the rest. It didn't feel like a movie, it was just an overly long episode of the anime, at least in the first few it felt like it mattered if Ash screwed up.
 
My favourite is the first one, I remember going to see it the day it came out then I went a few times after aswell just to get the cards that they gave out to everyone who went to see it. Also I love the 2nd one almost as much but for me it's the first :D
 
I personly loved the 3rd movie.the "pokemon 2000" comes in second and in third "garitina and the sky pokemon".I think that the "pokemon 2000" was really touching and that the "garitina and the sky pokemon" was awsome just because of the reverse world.
