Event Favorite Pokémon Tournament 2017: Fire (Dec. 14 - 21)

Welcome to the fifth annual installment of the Favorite Pokémon Tournament, hosted here in Pokémon General! The goal of the Favorite Pokémon Tournament (also known as the FPT), is to determine the most popular Pokémon/Pokémon family of the users here at the PokéCommunity. This will be a 10-week set of polls running between now and December, where we'll pit almost all Pokémon of different types from past and present generations against each other to determine a winner. After we know the results of each type, we'll add all of those Pokémon to a final poll, where the winner(s) will be crowned champion, and will go down into the record books as PokéCommunity's favorite Pokémon of 2017!

If you are new to the Favorite Pokémon Tournament, or would just like a refresher on the rules/process of the event, please take a look at the FAQ posted below:​

Spoiler:

• Every week, two new polls will be stickied at the top of Pokémon General. Each thread will include a different elemental type, and the list of Pokémon to vote from.
• You aren't required to pick just one Pokémon- you can vote for as many as you'd like to ensure your favorites get through. The Pokémon with the most votes at the end of the week will earn a spot in our grand finale, where the winners from all other polls will compete to be crowned the champion(s)!
• In order to preserve space, we've grouped all of the applicable evolutions in a Pokémon family together. Some Pokémon (ex.: the Nidoran families, Alolan variants, etc.) may be exempt from this rule.
• While regional variants have been included, please be aware that any Pokémon that changes formes (Mega Evolutions, Pokémon holding items, etc.) will only be included in polls with its original typings.
• In the event of a tie at the end of the week, all Pokémon tied for first place will advance to the finale.
  
• If there are any questions that you need answered, feel free to leave a comment in this thread or send a VM to Вrendino to get it sorted out.
  

NOTE: Due to the number of existing Fire type Pokémon, not all eligible Pokémon are present in the poll (inclusion is based on popularity from previous polls). If you want to vote for an unlisted Fire type, check the "Other Pokémon" option represented by a (?), and leave a post with your vote.

One of my first starter Pokémon. The whole line is pretty good actually!

Litwick, Lampent and Chandelure

Mysterious and Mystical, I love this line. They are really good as well!

Fennekin, Braixen and Delphox

My first ever starter Pokémon. It is so mystical, and just looks awesome to me.

Cyndaquil line because it was my first starter (<3), Entei, Torchic line, and Reshiram because I want recognition for this awesome legendary.

Magmortar line: Was a bro in my Plat nuzrun, also carried me through my Black 2 nuzrun when it was still alive, and is just great to use.

Chandelure line: Was also a bro when I had one, would like to use one again.

Reshiram: Also a cool mon

For the first time in FPT, the same species of Pokemon has won two polls! With its Alolan forms already winning the Fairy type poll, the original Vulpix and Ninetales have taken the crown in the Fire tupe poll, too. Congratulations to them!
