Favorite pokemon tv series

    What is you favorite pokemon series and why do you like it so much?

    I'm thinking limy said "series", not "season."

    Let's see:

    The original series.
    Advance Generation
    The Special Episodes/Pokemon Chronicles.

    Probably could view the movies like that as they're outside from the series.

    I like the Special Episodes, because they tell the stories the main series' continuity can't (with Mewtwo) or won't tell (the Rocket angle). If for that reason alone.
     
    the original series they awesome! and they really funny and got a good plot. my secound favorite is johto journeys , they really good also.
     
    My favorite series is the original series where everything was the best. There was no May and Team Rocket was just like I liked them.
    Although I LOVE Harley and Drew and Max from AG, AG just doesn't turn me on.
    I've only seen the hosos in Japanese and some dont even fit in to place *coughteamrocket'sorigincough* It's obvious Jessie took in some braindamage from that one blastoff
    Overall, Original>all

    I would have to agree totally with you, The orginal series is awesome! ^_^
     
    well, I'd have to say advance generation, closely followed by the original series*faints*
     
    You just can't beat the original series. It has an excellent plot with a variety of well written and entertaining episodes. AG has a few good points, but for the most part... meh. I haven't seen much of Hoso, so I can't really form an opinion on it.

    I like the Original and Advanced for different reasons. (Oh and Dark Weezing you forgot Jhoto XD)

    I like the Original because it has Misty in it, and Ash is new to the hole pokemon thing.

    But I like Advanced because it has May and Drew in it. And the contests and all the new pokemon. So probably the Advanced most

    I actually like them all for different reasons =3(well excluding hoso episodes because I havn't seen them)
    The first series was very nice. It was very funny and original=3! The character introductions were nice in this <3 I loved the 4 main characters (total) during this series but My favorite was/is Misty ^^.
    The second series(Johto) was pretty nice too=3 I enjoyed the whirl islands though the question about what was in the GS ball bugs me a little bit :c.
    I actually missed quite a few episodes during the Advanced generation because I lost interest for a little while there._. Some of the new pokemon are very nice:3. Drew has become one of my favorite characters(perhaps even tied with misty=3)+ I like contest shipping :3. Though I do miss Mist quite a lot during this season :(..

    I suppose that you can't beat the original though :3...

    Just because you dont like him doesn't give you the right to bash him.
    Although I didn't read any rules about character bashing, I'm sure it's looked down on so dont bash characters! How would you like it if I said May looks like vomit? I bet you wouldn't. So there.
    About AG not turning me on, maybe it doesn't really, it's just very different from the original and I like it because of that.
     
    The original series is the best of the best ;D it actually had a plot and story to it, it wasn't bland, also the characters weren't complete block-haeds :/ plus i liked how it was animated ^^ its so old school :D

    I also like johto a bit cause of lugia ^^

    But AG has nothing, no plot, the characters are bland -except drew he is the only likable one- , may and max annoy me to no end whatsoever as well...
