Favourite Battles vs. NPC

So most of us on here are 'reasonably' experienced at playing Pokémon - you have people who've been playing continuously and obsessively since Gen I, or those like myself who got really into it at one point, drifted away but find it easier than riding a bike when loading up a new save. Needless to say it can get a bit repetitive, especially battling NPCs with weird tactics or a Pokémon that just. refuses. to. faint.
Instead of focussing on that, I'd like to ask about your favourite battles versus NPCs: it could be anyone on a scale between Youngster Joey and Red, just an in-game battle, not one vs another human.

My primary reason for establishing this thread is to talk about the one I just had against Bugsy. But first, a shout out to my first ever play through of Black. When battling N, his Zekrom out-paced my Reshiram and used Fusion Bolt, meaning I actually got to see the extra animations for Fusion Flare that come when you use it afterwards. In fact, those were only two moves either of us used. A reasonably quick battle that felt like it was directed by Michael Bay.
Anyway, the really fun battle I had. My team: Gastly lv. 14, Cyndaquil lv. 17, Togepi lv. 14. His: the dreaded Scyther lv.17, Kakuna lv. 15, Metapod lv.15. I play on 'Set' rather than 'Shift' against Gym Leaders, Rocket Admins, Elite Four etc. My first instinct was to lead with my strongest and hit him hard, but lets be honest Cyndaquil's Ember doesn't hit that hard. So I decided to lead with my Gastly, put Scyther to sleep, Curse it and trap it with Mean Look. Hypnosis hit first time whilst he used Leer, which was great. Then I decided to use Curse, sacrificing health to take him down slowly. Mean Look...didn't get played until after Scyther woke up and U-Turned out of there, nearly fainting Gastly in the process. Kakuna was up next, I put out my HM Slave Nidoran(F) to wall its Poison Sting whilst I healed Gastly, then swapped in Togepi and obliterated it with Extrasensory. Scyther came out again, I figured why not go for broke and picked Metronome...Scyther's Leer hit first, then Metronome gave us Sonicboom, which took a not-insubstantial 15HP off Scyther, activating its berry. He then U-turned to Harden Metapod - and this is where the AI lets itself down perhaps - so I switched to Gastly, Metapod's Tackle could do nothing so Gastly slowly Lick-ed it to death. So now Scyther came back out, 25% health gone from Curse but well capable of damaging Gastly. Again I went for Hypnosis...missed, and his Focus Energy had me worried. Curse was next, he U-turned with nowhere to go leaving Gastly on 1HP, I swapped in Cyndaquil and finished it off with an Ember!
That probably sounds like a really easy battle, and technically it was, but it didn't feel like it. No real human would just spam Tackle against a Ghost, but the U-turning Scyther actually made it seem like he had some sort of a strategy, making the victory sweeter.

Anyway, that's mine, what's everyone else got?

The most memorable right now is Cynthia since I just finished Platinum the other day. My team was Empoleon, Leafeon, Medicham, Quagsire, Staraptar, Rapidash. All of them were around 58, Quagsire and Medicham were in the low 40's.

I led with Empoleon got a Critical Hit on Spritomb and KO'ed it in one hit. (Was not expecting that at all).

Then she immediately went for Garchomp, so I kept switching between Staraptar and Quagsire because I could intimidate it and lower the attack. Even at level 45 Quagsire did well at tanking hits. She was also...not very smart. She kept trying to Flamethrower Quagsire. Eventually she wised up and started using Dragon Rush after burning Quagsire. So Starpatar and Quagsire fainted, but Garchomp went down to a toxic I threw out earlier.

Actually at that point I was pretty sure I'd just lose. Staraptar was the ace of my team, and I felt lost with it fainting so early.

So tied 4-4 and she went Togekiss, which was brutal. I had no idea this had so much type coverage. Luckily Surf did a bunch but she had Aura Sphere so Empoleon was weakened.

Then Lucario which was beaten in two hits because my Leafeon had dig.

Roserade was beaten in two hits. Amusingly Flame Wheel did more damage than Fire Blast.

Milotic was an issue. I only had 2 Pokemon left. (Empoleon and Rapidash). I kept Rapidash in and sacrificed it by using Bounce, which paralyzed it. Medicham couldn't do anything because it was level 41. I just used it to heal my Empoleon which muscled through Milotic.

And that was the end. The only Pokemon left was Empoleon with a quarter of health. (Leafeon couldn't do much to Milotic. It was too bulky and had Ice Beam).
